Re: ALOHA from new member!

Hi Scubascout! First let me say thank you for your service, and welcome from Arizona! I love metal detecting, but haven't done it in a long time. We've hit a "cold snap" in Arizona so I haven't ridden this week, but I plan to post some pictures soon. Hopefully you will too!

I bought it from Revzilla for $99 (U.S.) with free shipping, which arrived fast! It's exactly what I needed. ;)

Tunnel Bags and Tank Bags

I got the Givi T496. It fits perfectly. I used the small strap and secured it under the seat, though it really doesn't need to be. It doesn't look like it would go anywhere even without being secured.
Thanks for the help. :)

Re: Tunnel Bags and Tank Bags

Thanks for the info! I saw that video, but wasn't sure how it mounted. It doesn't seem to need much to keep it in place. I ordered it from Revzilla. I'll post pictures when it arrives.

Tunnel Bags and Tank Bags

I'm looking for a bag to fit over the tank of my PCX150. I saw an older post about a Givi T455, which I like, but it's been discontinued. Any ideas?

Mom allows "scooter"

I'm beginning to appreciate why mom is concerned. Even at 24, you might not be ready to ride. You have to have a level of maturity to ride safely and I'm not convinced.

Christmas past (stock screen). Let it snow! (somewhere else please :D ) Seen in pic are those "use on glass or any smooth surface " self adhering decals. Bought these at The Dollar Store, but they can be had at Target, Walmart, etc. I'm about to put some Fall leaves on my Givi :? before f...

Re: New Member in Arizona

That was my scoot you saw at the Great Southwest Scooter Fiesta in Gilbert two weekends ago. Glad to hear you're liking the PCX. I rode up from Tucson that morning, and back after the afternoon ride to Sahuaro Lake. A 300 mile day! The sun setting over the ranches in Coolidge was beautiful. You can...

Re: New Member in Arizona

Nice how much did you pay for it out the door? I'm trying to figure out what the fair price is and if you're happy what you paid. Also, will it be able to handle those fast suburban roads or interstate? I live in OC in Southern CA so that will be my riding area. May consider doing trips to LA at mo...

Re: New Member in Arizona

Hey, Phil! Do you know which one you're getting? I don't know brands except Givi but I do know I don't one that's too tall, and I think I want a smoke colored one. I'm actually looking at the one that Taz has, the ermax +25 with the trim. Again, it will be a bit before I actually purchase it, but t...

Re: New Member in Arizona

Good luck on that Ermax. Seems they are widely available everywhere but the US. I tried twice to order one from the other side of the pond, but with no luck. Had to cancel my orders due to shoddy customer service or just ignoring my order. Presently I'm waiting to see if the tall Givi I ordered wil...

Re: New Member in Arizona

There's a short givi, tall givi, 4 diff types of Ermax, Puig and Bullster, that I know of. There are also Thailand ones that look ok on photos but I have no idea how to source them, though Black Bandit here may assist. Mine is the ermax +25 which is in between the short and tall givi in size and I ...
