Do you use the foot wells?
I've put 2200 miles on it, and it never occurred to me to put my feet up into the foot wells. But darned if it isn't more comfortable that way. I have long legs, and I am cramped by the seating. But putting my feet in the foot well allows me get my knees up a little higher. But if ONLY the width of ...

Re: what do you think about a fitted bed sheet for a cover?
the f-ing sun annoys me. I hate my bike sitting out in the hot sun all day. There is NO place to park it that isn't dusty and sun-baked. ugh.

Thanks.RSTX wrote:Please don't. Buy a cover and be done with it. A fitted sheet will look silly, won't protect, might singe on your muffler,, blow off...the list goes on.

I get bored very quickly if I don't have someplace to go
I enjoy my scooter when I am riding it to work, or riding it home from work. But if I take it out to ride it for enjoyment's sake, I get bored so quickly it isn't funny. Today was a perfect example: it is sunny and warm, a perfect day to ride. Yet after 20 minutes of riding around aimlessly, I came ...

what do you think about a fitted bed sheet for a cover?
I know it's kinda "Fred" to use a fitted bed sheet for a cover, but I don't need much cover, and I am cheap. I work at a cement plant, and it bugs me how dusty it is there. There is also no shade anywhere on the property. My scooter is white so I am thinking about buying a white fitted-siz...

Re: Where can I get a replacement panel for my scooter?
thanks for your input. I did check partzilla and did not see 2017 as Mel said. I will check the other place. I bought a seat from Biker Bitz. I didn't realize they sold plastic panels, too.

Where can I get a replacement panel for my scooter?
I dumped my scooter, and it gouged the paint on the panel below my foot well. If it weren't for this, my scooter would be mint. Where can I get a replacment, and are they expensive? My scooter is a 2017 white in color. Thanks.

Re: Custom Seat 7 disappointment
K2 is correct. What some members have done is purchase a gel seat cushion of some sort in order to give them the extra padding needed in the area where the curve is from the frame, rails, and back end of the storage bin. The PCX was designed and built in Asia, where people are a bit smaller in stat...

Re: Looking for ideas for cool scooter garb.
What most of the guys in this pic have in common is a jean vest. So I think my first piece of apparel will be a blue jean vest. I'm not down with leather vests.

Re: Custom Seat 7 disappointment
I'm trying to remember - but you have been trying to solve this scooter seat issue for quite some time, haven't you? How long has it been? Fish Yes I bought it last summer. I have tried two after-market seats. It was a mistake buying this machine. I should have bought another Genuine Buddy. I was c...

Re: Custom Seat 7 disappointment
Maybe consider getting a bigger machine with a more comfortable seat? Tough decision indeed. The PCX checks so many of the right boxes but the two that have always been a thorn in the consumer's side have been the lack of universal appeal with the seat and the long journey to adjust the valv...

Re: Custom Seat 7 disappointment
This probably won't help you, but I thought I would throw it in anyway. Almost all of the seats that are sold on the internet and in Asia come from the same shop. One of the sites has a direct feed to that shop, and you can ask for modifications to a particular seat model and they will get it done ...

Re: Custom Seat 7 disappointment
I am 6'1 with a 31 inseam and have no problem with the system 7. It pushes me back just enough. I would say if you still have a problem after trying the system 7, you're going to take it into a local saddlemaker/upholsterer, and have them custom fit foam. Do this on the system 7, save your stock se...
