Re: How fast would you want to go on your PCX 125/150?

I want accelation more than top speed

The current 60-ish mph is fine for me since 50 is the fastest on the route i take, at 70 i think it would be scary with these bikes!

Re: Fatter tyres after motorway scare

wider tyres dont give more grip (cant remember where i read that from). the brakes certainly aren't great but good enough to stop, as mentioned, i too ride different when its wet, less lean, more careful etc. I try to stay away from motorways simply because the bike's engine is not powerful enough t...

Re: How often do you have flat tires?

3 or 4 in 2 years but this was with the gixer and i have to ride on the surface to filter around.

none with the PCX so far, I have a Honda care thing so they'll tow it if i breakdown. If you repair the tyre on the road, doesnt this repair only last for the journey to change the tyre for a new one?

Re: Dog thread!

the is so adorable! i hate dog threads because i badly want a dog but my lifestyle would mean the dog left on their own for appro 12 hours a day. I would actually change jobs if i were able to work from so instead i have 2 bunnies who quite happily fit the bill and they act like dogs too! Need to po...

Re: Does anyone have LED accent lights?

if we put any LED lights other than white at the front and red at the back, we'll get poked by the police :(

even if its underbike lighting we'll get pulled, i have white/silver reflective tape on my wheels (not to everyones taste) but i look like tron in the night and i get noticed!

Re: UK buyers beware

looks like he is trying to sell this off without mentioning cat c to keep the price up. You got a reply on ebay, i'm sure all buyers are now aware of it if they see this. One thing i hate on ebay posts is people copy/paste a load of facts and figures, why cant they talk about the bike more. PS: i ju...

Re: Difference between a Scooter and a Motorcycle?

i think the meaning degrades with time.

motorcycle you'll think those big bikes typically 400cc up

scooters are more smaller and they normally in a smaller body and traditional twist and go.

End of the day, they are all 'Motorcycles', scooter is just a name to define it more.

Re: Rubber feet for the stands

i use side stand when its at home, much easier to park it up and use centre stand when i park at work. dont want the centre stand to damage my epoxy garage floor and will rip my gym mat if i used it often. Currently i have a spare kitchen tile and the side stand rests on that. always used side stand...

Re: Headlight upgrade?

yep, your lights arent faulty and this is something i've noticed too. Most of the streets I ride have some street lighting so not quite pitch black.

Yes you will probably need additional lights as mentioned, good luck with the modding!
