Re: I'll be leaving soon

UK guys on Kymcoforum.com should be able to help you sus parts. Plenty of tech. advice there, too, as your model is a very popular scoot. Fish Thanks Stig. Someone there recommended racing planet uk. I'll have a look online, maybe there is a place where I can order directly from Taiwan. Sent from m...

Re: I'll be leaving soon

Wow! Great video. Can't say my attempts at navigating it went the same way almost put my neck out checking blind spots  good luck with the new ride It's not so bad. I used to drive a bus through not so magic roundabout on daily basis. Bit slower than on the video though, passengers would've co...

Re: I'll be leaving soon

Hopefully you can find panels for the Downtown as easy as for the PCX. The 300 is a nice bike, if you can find parts. Already looked on ebay. Not as easy as pcx for sure. Only bottom fairing on right side is damaged with hole in it. Rest is just scratches. Front has been dismantled to get access to...

I'll be leaving soon

Time came to replace my pcx. Bought recently Kymco downtown 300i it's insurance write off but just some minor panel damage I can live with. It needs some work doing but hopefully it won't be long before it will be back on the road. Anyone interested in pcx 164 yuminashi? Here's picture of work in pr...

Re: Oil and Coolant Check

Checking top coolant reservoir doesn't tell the coolant level in the radiator. It's pointless. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk I think you might have a different idea of what the reservoir does. The cooling system is sealed to outside air. The radiator cap is there in order to relieve pressure...

Re: Yuminashi throttle body 2017 125 PCX

Thank you for your reply. I think I will take the Yminashi performance injector and adopt to a stock TB. Do you think that might work just fine? Is Yuminashi TB a performance upgrade or is it just to accommodate bigger injector? If so I will go for the injector in the stock throttle body. Yuminashi...

Re: Yuminashi throttle body 2017 125 PCX

Hi, I have 2017 PCX 125 and just successfully installed 164cc Power Pack from Yuminashi. There is one small(big) problem. Yuminashi Throttle Body doesn't work properly with my PCX. It revs up to certain RPM and chokes. Everything works fine with stock TB. I tried Yuminashi injector and it work fine...

eBay. CB500x R&G mirror extenders. About £11.50. Tried them today and they work perfectly.

Re: Annoying little thing I can't put my finger on

For the last month or so when I start up my PCX (from a cold start) and twist the throttle to ride, the scooter chokes and sputters like its going to stall, but then takes off and runs just fine. MPG and top speed have not changed. What bugs me now is when I am riding at a constant speed down the s...

Sold* the one on the left to buy the one on the right. As you can see, the red one is a more substantial ride than the little gray 400. (more fun, anyway) Fish *just waiting on the check to clear & the truckers to come. https://s2.postimg.org/9yjcrqhc9/there3.jpg https://s2.postimg.org/89jgb5ge...

Re: Kymco downtown 300i

Sold my PCX the other month and now got a 2010 Xmax 250, Very happy with it so far, fast, comfy and doing about 75 mpg. Loads of storage under the seat, and much better with a pillion I was thinking about the xmax 250 too. How does it compare to pcx handling wise? Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

Re: Brake Pad replacement and fluid checks

I have been using ebc sintered front brake pads and they just completly rusted over the winter. Metal back plates are covered in something that looks like copper coating instead of being painted. That stuff just rotted away from rain and road salt.

Re: Wrist Mirror

i'm not sure if the mirrors attached to the front panel offers better angle. Saw a lot of these being used in Thailand. Stock mirror fine for me though. Where to buy those mirrors? I have to push my bike through narrow gate. Handlebars go through Ok but mirrors are too wide and do come back to the ...

Re: Kymco downtown 300i

In the UK at the moment you can get a brand new Z300 with ABS for £3900 otr with 0% finance. I really like the convince of a scooter. Underseat storage and twist and go are hard to beat. I think if you want a sport bike better buy a proper one not just something that looks like it. Not sure how tha...
