Re: Comedy break: Ram Mount cupholder

When I tried my Ram mount cup holder I found that the drink would spill whenever I leaned into a corner, which is something a scooter or motorcycle can do easily. It handles most corners, but then when I straighten back up, that is when it slouches back and forth and goes out any holes in the top. ...

I made this vid about a year and a half ago. It works, sort of, but not as well as hoped.

Re: How-To: Horn Upgrade(d) --> Denali Soundbomb Mini

I am a great believer in being seen and heard on a scooter. If you can put a louder horn on you bike, do so. I have awakened quite a few drivers who were so busy doing everything but driving that they kept drifting into my lane. The question of the day: Why do drivers feel that the time to dig into...

Another ride through Lancaster county (video)

Took another ride yesterday on a windy day. It's a long vid with music on a loop. The only time you hear me or the bike is in the intro and at the end. Not what I normally post since I generally do the vlogging thing, but anyway. The ride goes from East Petersburg PA, up through Sporting Hill (near ...

Are these the bulbs you're running? Read the details about their unique color. I've been using one in my LIKE200i for years. they're halogens. I think that's just the color of the bulbs. It does look a little different when compared to the LED pods on either side. I've been thinking of finding an LED solution to match the colors up.

Murder Hornets and interesting "Scooter Names"

A few years ago I added some orange touches to my PCX to make it pop a little. When it was finished, I thought it resembled the face of a stinging insect when viewed from the front, so I re-christened it the Angry Hornet. People said, "but hornets aren't orange!" Murder hornet comes along ...

New Motovlog - some journalistic work

Went to see if the monthly ride-in was happening in Ephrata this morning. It wasn't, but it was a nice ride. I'm still fine-tuning audio. It sounded great until I uploaded it to YouTube, but the music is original and the ride may be fun to watch anyway. There is a momentary passing religious referen...

in the UK we are only permitted to make ''essential journeys''...so a ride out into the countryside for leisure purposes is not allowed...If the Police stop you you will receive a fine if you cannot justify your journey. :( You are going to get some milk...from a farmer...in Scotland...in the hills...

Re: How-To: Install New NCY Brake Actuator Arm

I wear a full closed face helmet. At higher speeds there is some wind noise but a lot of it is just the pipe. There’s nothing for it so I do most of my conversation at lower speeds with the visor down. I’ve compared to a lot of the other vids out there and they are all about the same when traveling ...

Re: anybody riding?

The PCX is, and has been for some time, my primary transport. During the current crisis, I've limited my riding a bit, primarily only going out for groceries or other necessities or for work, though I may take a round-about route just to make the ride last a little longer and to get some more motovl...

Re: Tire size

I've never felt a need for wider tires since Michelin City Grips work very well in the stock size; however, from what I've seen of other people's experiences, you're going to have some rubbing with the sizes you've referenced. some owners have safely gone up one width size on each tire without any m...

Re: How-To: Install New NCY brake Actuator Arm

Thanks gents. Yes, the orange does help with visibility. It's not perfect because I did it myself, but it's functional. And yes, adjusting the rear brake tensioner is so much easier now. I was also tickled that due to the complete lack of traffic I could just stop on the road and adjust it. The empt...

Re: Trufuel ethanol free gas

Modern fuel injection systems aren't as sensitive to ethanol as carbureted systems. a bit of stabil in the tank over the winter wouldn't go amiss, just the same. The real issue i have with ethanol is that it's really nothing more than filler. I ran some comparison tests between ethanol and and non-e...

Re: Where do you park your ride ?

It’s different here in Lancaster Pennsylvania. I’ve left my keys in my scooter overnight and nobody touched it. I live in a townhome development that’s mildly busy, but even when I park in the city, my scooter remains unmolested. Lancaster is very scooter friendly. I can park on the sidewalk and nob...
