Re: YSS Shocks & Fork kit for 2015 PCX 150 in California USA, or alternatives?

Wellllll...hmmm 2105 hasn't arrived yet. Not sure anything has been invented for it yet. :D  Really though, YSS makes great products. Many members in the past upgraded their PCXs with YSS products. If i wanted to upgrade my front forks I would choose YSS, though NCY would also be worth looking...

Re: Levers for tiny hands

There are adjustable handles that are long and there are ones that are short. I bought ones for both my bike and for my wife's bike. She has small hands. We sold her bike last year but I still have mine. I just checked the adjustment on mine. Position 1 is closest to the handlebar. I ride with mine ...

Re: What kind of cool stuff have you done or added to your pcx?

Many years ago I added lights to my bike, so it isn't a new thing, but here are some pictures of just the tail lights. The front is also loaded with lights. If you want to be seen, lights are the best way that I know of.

Also keep in mind that this bike uses JS head screws, not PhillIps Head. That makes a difference when the screw is stubborn.

Re: Fuel fill door works intermittently

Once the door is open you should be able to see a latch holding device just under the plastic. Try some WD-40 on it. Sometimes that works. I have had to take my tunnel cover off a few times and clean the mechanism. Also, carry something small with you to help pry it open when it doesn't release. I c...

Re: What kind of cool stuff have you done or added to your pcx?

When it comes to mods, much of it depends on your year/model and availability of parts. The newest year may find add-ons hard to find at first. ...and then there is the time and money problems, which cause some members to pick and choose what mods they can afford to do. I would have loved to have ch...

Re: Oil change

I have never had a problem with the drain plug but know that there have been members who have had problems. If you find that you can't get the drain plug off, do as mymitzi suggests... use the side drain where the oil screen is. On first oil change you need to pull the screen anyway. There won't be ...

Re: Topbox/rack Load

If you are worried about the rack itself, it is quite capable of handling heavy loads. Recently I removed my tail box for the day and installed a milk crate so that I could carry our empty gas cans to the gas station for fill up. I have 5 gas containers of varying sizes, probably equaling around 10 ...

Re: Scooter Cannonball Run - Its a real thing!

i couldent do 461 miles in a day i might make it but id hate to think how id feel at almost 67 years old My wife and I rode that many miles in one day when I was 67. It was fun as long as we walked around when we filled our tank so we could stretch our muscles. We took our time. I'm not sure those ...

Re: Help - Wanting to Trike a PCX 125

There have been multiple riders on this forum who have triked their PCX, so it can be done. However, I am not sure if the trike kit companies make one for the smaller scooters. That doesn't mean that they don't though. You could google it. They do have PCX trikes in Thailand, and I recall a member i...

Re: Scooter Cannonball Run - Its a real thing!

If I were young, single, and financially free enough to do it, I would love to have tried it. That blog entry for the 16th says they will do 461 miles in 9 hours. I have gone that far in one day on my PCX. It gets tiring, but it was fun. I just wonder how long you could go before you are exhausted.

Re: Frame Grounding / Signal Light Issue

I have a 2013 PCX and know the wiring quite well. Much of the wiring bundle begins and ends down the right side of the bike, with the front being connected through the ground in the rear. If the bulb itself works in the other positions then the socket may have a bad connection. You will need to get ...

I have had all sorts of bikes in my life, and the one thing that I can say about my PCX150 is that it is fun. Keeping that in mind, just know that fun means different things to different people. Prior to owning my PCX I owned a beautiful Suzuki Burgman 400. It ran great and took on freeway traffic w...

Re: "Grinding" noise coming from variator/clutch?

If the clutch bearing were going bad you would hear a grinding noise, and it would get worse as time went by. What you are hearing right now is nothing like the grinding you would hear then. You would KNOW that something is wrong, not wonder. Also, very few of the PCX'S after 2016 had that problem. ...

Re: Ghosting, Sport Ed. Reflex & 1951 BMW

Looks like a nice day for riding. I love that the ride sort of ends at a coffee shop. I love coffee shops. Great places to relax and meet people. We have sunny, HOT & MUGGY, days now...with afternoon showers from hell. How to ride in thunder showers with 30-40 mph winds...hmmm. If I want to go t...

Re: Brake light issue

You use the charge port to run an air pump? I am surprised that it didn't blow your fuse. It can only handle a certain amount of amps and you may have gone beyond that, thus blowing fuse. Determine where the fuse is and see if it is blown. My 2013 PCX doesn't have one but the rest of my fuses are in...

Guess what? It rained. The yard isn't level. The water overflowed the boards around the garden. The new top soil washed out the other end. We have to redo the garden. I am not going to tell my wife that I knew it would happen. She would just get angry. We will probably just rebuild the garden the sa...

Re: Any idea when the 2021 PCX will hit the USA?

There seem to be a lot of advertisements for the 2021 model in the United States so I would have to wonder if ANY of the dealers really do have one in stock. I even came across one or two in Cycletrader that have dealer stock numbers, which means to me that there must be one in stock. https://www.cy...
