Re: Trunk box for 2017

Yes they do. I had a (stolen) 2015 and the same GIVIs fit my new 2017.

http://www.hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5410 describes the first one in some detail and
I have the first one listed at http://www.giviusa.com/givi-products/ca ... lock-cases now

Re: Red Honda pcx stolen

I'm so sorry! I had mine stolen recently and it's gut-wrenching.

The insurance companies here wait a while to see if it turns up,
so if the police find it burnt out, that could speed payment.

Mine is on page 4. It looks blue in the sun and black in the shade.

Re: 2017 model Availability

Nah... it's just such a dark blue that it often looks black (deep black with a navy metallic flake, really)

I've played with the color saturation on my avatar

Re: 2017 model Availability

It may be the label 2017... I gather that the same bike's are called 2016 elsewhere in the world.

Anyway, I didn't order one but I've had one for a while. They're dark blue and white, instead of steel gray and red.

Re: flashing headlight

I just checked my reflection (on the car in front of me) today...

On the 2017s,
flashing your high beam IS the closest you can get to modulating your headlight,
because the high beam is a central, separate light.

Wow, that's going to hurt more later,
but I'm so glad that's the story here.

Hope you can rest up and heal for a while.

Re: flashing headlight

If you spot an inattentive driver,
you can (legally) flash your high beams to get their attention.

Re: where is the best gas for the pcx being sold?

I don't know about Gainesville, but around here it's more about the station than the brand.
Some stations are not well-maintained and my engine misses and tries to stall if I fill up there.

Re: Safety Concerns

It also works to slide a bright mesh riding vest over any jacket.
But do make it a RIDING vest because construction worker vests whistle feverishly once you're above moped speeds.

Not smirking, but then again the pleasant riding season is just starting here.

Riding at over 95F is an acquired taste, if at all.

I love the breeze from riding without a windshield, but might feel differently up in Ontario.

Disc locks are good, IMO

Looks like BMW is going after the Harley dentist/Goldwing crowd.

They're way, way, way too big for the likes of me.

Excellent, sounds good

There are a lot of 3-wheel mopeds around here
and sometimes it's scary watching them take the corners.

Clever! I like the wide trike tires.

Have you been riding it about already? How does it corner?
