Re: Gloves - are they all hideous to use?

I have small hands and use regular leather gloves with a pair of fingerless Gold's Gym weightlifter gloves on top. This gives the front and back of my hands decent padding but still lets my fingers work well. This set-up works until the temperature drops into the 30 degree F. range, then I switch to...

Re: How cold will you ride?

20 degrees is usually my limit, and I DO wear leather mittens! I put a hand warmer packet in each mitten on the back side of my hands and it works fine.

I watched for about 5 minutes. What is the camera attached to? Couldn't be your helmet because it never looks from side to side.

Re: LOOK at My Truck Tires, They Look Like.....

I had a set of tires that looked similar a few years ago on a minivan. I went to the tire place where I bought them and they said the cracking and checking had something to do with the atmosphere or ozone or something like that ( I can't remember exactly what they said----senior moment) But anyway t...

Re: Folding Backpack

I received the Hikpro backpack today, and it seems to be well worth the money. It appears to be large enough to hold any "overflow" grocery items that I can't get under the seat. Four zippered pockets plus two bottle holder mesh pockets. I don't expect to have a need to carry really large...

Re: ATGATT or Squidding: What do YOU ride with?

All The Gear All The Time. or ATGATT. Dressing appropriately for the slide, not for the ride. One lesson I learned the hard way like most do. Squidding, riding Squid. Riding in comfortable street clothing like a t-shirt and shorts. Completely underprepared in the event of an off. Of the many urban ...

Re: Lowering seat height

http://hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=992&hilit=+seat+uncovered This is how I solved my too tall PCX problem. I got the seat cut and plastic welded then re-covered, plus I bought Takegawa lowering shocks. Now I can have both feet flat on the ground, even wearing sneakers moving the PCX aro...

Re: 1st Month

Welcome William, what part of Michigan are you in? I got a set of Takegawa lowering shocks on my 2013 PCX 150, I got them to lower the bike but they also improved the ride and they are adjustable. My PCX will go 65+ easy, I weigh about 110 lbs. It is nice seeing wildlife while you ride as long as th...

Re: Well I saw the new Burgman 200 today

I really liked the Burgman 200 when I tried it, and I had no problem reaching the ground. If I didn't already have a PCX I would buy a B-200. The salesman at the dealership I was at didn't even know how to start the Burg, but I don't expect sales people to have much real knowledge about brand new bi...

Re: 2013 PCX150 w/7000 miles

Some people here have over 20,000 miles on their PCXs. Most used scoots I see at dealerships are just over $2000, so $1500 from a private seller seems about right, especially if the person just doesn't want it anymore. By the way, my PCX is very well taken care of, but I wouldn't give anybody a tour...

Welcome Stephen!!! Aren't there laws or something that specify Harley owners can't even look at scooters? Or acknowledge the existence of scooters? Or something like that?
