why I wear a helmet ALWAYS
I was out riding Friday on my lovely red PCX 150. After an hour I was getting close to my destination. I came to a T intersection, stopped and, not knowing which way to turn, started searching right and left for some kind of clue indicating the whereabouts of my goal. There was traffic coming on, no...

Re: Final Drive oil change??
Thanks. That is the where of what I wanted to know. Now, tell me, how do you get the oil into that oil check hole? Seems you would almost need a syringe of some kind.

Final Drive oil change??
I went to change my oil this morning in my 2013 PCX 150 and somehow got sidetracked. Instead removing the engine oil drain bolt, I took out the final drive oil drain bolt. While I was loosening the bolt I had a feeling that I was doing something I didn't really want to do and hadn't done before.But,...

It's been a long time and still no conclusion to this tutorial? Did the project self-destruct? or what?

mileage
I seem to be getting pretty good mileage on my 2013 PCX--101 miles on .78 gal of gas. I am a skinny guy--130 lb--and maybe that makes a difference. What octane do people use in these scooters anyway. I have been using 93 but today, by mistake, I put in regular. Does it make a great deal of differenc...

Re: My PCX!%) AKA Cottontail
Yes, I am going to trade it in--but not too soon and not because I don't like it. It is a wonderful piece of machinery.

My PCX!%) AKA Cottontail
Attached--I hope--is a photo of my 2013 PCX150 with new topbox. I removed the tail faring and replaced it with a slightly damaged used faring purchased on Ebay for--shipping included 16.50$. I knew that in a while I would be trading this scooter in and wanted to send it back to the dealership exactl...

Re: top box mount without drilling holes in the tail
I definitely agree with that. I pulled my tail piece off and drilled it out in a matter of minutes, knowing that I could purchase a replacement piece cheap. ($12.41) http://www.partzilla.com/parts/search/Honda/Scooter/2011/PCX125+A/SEAT/parts.html I am replying to this so late because I was not awa...

an aerodynamic boost--what's not to love? Probably look a little better than a high screen too.Mgalutia88 wrote:The givi short screen gives a nice boost in aerodynamics while not adding as much surface area as the full screen. It will allow you to reach higher top speeds than the stock screen without crouching.

Re: windscreens and mpg on PCX 150
My personal experience with the GIVI tall windscreen on my PCX150 is that it does not seem to change the gas mileage for better or worse. It does get rid of all buffeting and for some reason makes the bike more stable in cross winds and around heavy traffic. Also. I can now ride with my face shield...

Re: Is this a good price for a new 2013 pcx?
I recently--three weeks ago--bought the exact model you are contemplating. It had 100 miles on it. the price was 2699$ I snapped it up. Before I got out of the door, the 2699 had exploded into 3321.

top box mount without drilling holes in the tail
Since I found out that I would have to drill holes in the tail piece of my 2013 Pcx150 to mount a top box--using the mounting kit provided by Honda--I have been hard at it trying to cook up some way to mount a box without drilling. I don't intend to use the box more than once a week. I need a tempor...

windscreens and mpg on PCX 150
What is the MPG effect of the addition of a, say, 17 in windshield on a PCX 150. Seems to me their would by an aerodynamic enhancement factor in this procedure that would result in more miles per gallon. I suppose there are other parameters than height to be considered--width, angle of wind inciden...
