Its one of the quirks of this theme that text hyperlinks do not appear in a different colour by default.

Re: Merry Christmas to all the scooter lovers here!

Mel, I just a short ride from ya. House on hill side inside a small valley. Have had 3 tornadoes in 50 years go right over my house, destroying houses on both sides. The hills act like deflectors and I'm about 50' above the flood plan. I do get trapped on occasion, but I still love the South and Swe...

My homemade handguards

My homemade handguards. (5th pic) Willa's Forza Pics I used the link to view full size rather than smaller pics. Made from 8"X12" Lexan with a heatgun and a flat bar to bend around. Not perfect, but decent for 1st attempt. These do more for me when 30-40 degrees F than using the handlebar ...

Re: FORZA VIBRATION ISSUE: update - help needed

I just took my new ride out for a 350 mile tour. It was COLD!!! Anywho, when I reached 65 mph, indicated, I felt a small buzz as you call it. I was wondering if that was what you were talking about. I wouldn't have noticed it except for ducking behind the wonderful new tall windshield and it was so ...

A teen listed as primary driver while living with parents? That is asking the agent to take your money!!!
What about driver ed discount? You really need to sit down and talk quietly with an agent about how to help. If you don't ask, they won't tell you anything.

Re: How Much is the Forza insurance cost for per year?

My pcx insurance with progressive is 50 a month full coverage. No accidents. But one year of experience and 18 years old. When will it begin to get cheaper Did you take the MSF course? If so, did you get the discount? Do you have any traffic tickets in the last 3 years? (I guess that means since yo...

Re: How Much is the Forza insurance cost for per year?

I've had my Forza for a week now...yes it is red...and insurance with Progressive is $94/yr full coverage. One ticket still showing. Khan, I would suggest to shop around. Sounds like you are getting ripped, unless it is something to do with the area you are in. Could it be since you are near the coa...

Re: Parts Manual

To save a website: A work around is to use Chrome browser. You have to save each section separately, but it works. For example, goto the wiring harness page, on the menu click print, choose PDF, then save. Using Firefox, you can use UnMHT plugin, open each parts page as a tab, then save it all as an...

Re: What Accessory or Mod would you like?

I am making some leg shields also. The first set worked out ok, looked ok, then I went for a test ride and thought they were great. Then I realized they were too close to the parking brake and I couldn't use the brake. So back to the drawing board to make them bulge a bit more to make room for the b...

Re: What Accessory or Mod would you like?

thanks Chris. I saw that rack on Ebay also. Looks like it is made and shipped from Thailand. I may go with that. I was hoping for a chrome rack. As far as the mud flap, I bought some plastic cutting board at Target, industrial velcro from Lowes, took off the fender and cut a rough rectangular piece ...

Re: What Accessory or Mod would you like?

seat is good option. I just picked up my Forza yesterday. Front mudflap, grips, and tall windshield added. But I can't find a decent option for a good luggage rack. I have an older monolock givi topcase I'd like to mount, taken from my other ride. I have written giviusa, but they haven't answered. A...

Re: Warranty Claim - water pump oil seal 2014 Forza 300

Thanks for the info Chris. I was about to purchase new out of the crate last week and I noticed a drip by the side stand. Service busted a line and let the coolant out but they didn't notice. Anyone can make a mistake, but how it is handled is what counts. Glad yours was good outcome. And yes, check...

Re: First service

How often does a Rolex need a service then? Depends. Some of the old oyster precisions can run for decades without any maintenance Doesn't stop the manufacturer recommending regular services. You'd get a shock at the prices. Noone ever really drops their rolex off every year for thousand dollar ser...

Re: How Much is the Forza insurance cost for per year?

I registered due to interest of the Forza. Not an owner (yet). But for the MS owner, I'm next door in AL, I get the best rates between Progressive or Markel. Even with 2 tickets in past 3 years, Progressive was $174/yr on my cruiser. $165/yr on my Burgman 650. Rates about the same with Markel. +/- $...
