Replace Brake Levers / Racing Lever Upgrade
The PCX is a well-designed machine, although the reach to the brake levers is pretty long for those with smaller hands, sometimes causing throttle usage irregularities. Here's how I replaced the stock levers with adjustable race leavers (note this is a one-beer project, 2-beer if something goes wron...

Re: Is There Something in the Mist? Or Do My Eyes Deceive Me
I see the Grim Reaper (from his front right), right arm raised, hood on his head, sithe in his left hand, passing through a portal, his essence mirrored on the other side. Looks like he's foreshadowing a collection.

Re: Once I had a topbox, now I have none
Mechanically, lock washers are supposed to retain tension so the nut doesn't rotate, but they don't create ->that much<- tension, so I don't use them. I'm not NASA educated, it just seems to me when removing the bolt the lock washer does nothing. The correct formulation of threadlocker , or nylock n...

Re: How I ride in Northern Illinois winter
Sewing 1“ wide x 2-1/4" long pieces of material on the outside of a soft vest or jacket liner should work. Sew around the perimeter of each side of the material 1/16" from the outer edge forming a 7/8" square, then connect the corners of the square forming an X. That makes a 1" s...

Re: How I ride in Northern Illinois winter
I've posted a few places about my cold weather (14°F) adventures, and list the gear and how-tos. One thing you most likely don't want to do is sew the wires into the jacket in a manor they cannot be easily removed, as everything goes bad fairly quickly with heated gear due to the constant flexing. I...

Re: LED guide, my findings.
That is a great set of results!
As a note, you may want to shoot against a distant wall from a fixed distance and using the OpenCamera app lock the camera settings down and compare the stock light beam pattern to the LED.

Re: It's Electric!
No offense, I think the iZip price vs. performance isn't there yet. At half the cost of a PCX and nothing near the performance, no rear suspension, and no guarantee on replacement parts being available in 3 years (iZip will probably say to upgrade the bike instead), it doesn't do it for me--it might...

Re: LED guide, my findings.
That's quite the design! Since LEDs don't generate too much heat the plastic should hold up well. I admire your ingenuity! I mentioned this to Squirrel and she said that because parts are fairly inexpensive, just buy a new light assembly. :P Girls.... I'm pretty sure that would also require a new up...

Re: Wiring to the bars
This is pretty detailed, yet maybe not detailed enough. You can always hit me up for more information. Motorcycle Phone Mount / App / Apps / Software I did not do this to the PCX as the panels have to be pulled, but Squirrel is starting to get the idea she may want GPS, and pulling the panels has to...

Re: LED guide, my findings.
Squirrel has a 2017 PCX and stock lights, they're quite impressive looking. She only rides during daylight hours. My experience came from other vehicles, I don't drive her PCX; although I'd love to, I also want her to have her own bike that's all hers. I wish people the best of fortunes with lightin...

Honda goes into "full stupid" mode. It’s a concept bike. The clue to a concept bikes purpose is in the name if you look hard enough. The concept is stupid. :D @GeorgeSK has a great article, and I think it's spot-on. That does cover most urban travel, and they're honest about the mar...

Since I went bat-shit crazy on the electric vehicle thing, I might as well stick this here: Honda goes into "full stupid" mode. o8wSo76jiD8 Yup, they are trying to appeal to the hipster generation so hard they put a "wind turbine" in to "generate power for the instrument clu...

Re: LED guide, my findings.
I know this is a hot topic across many forums, and my hope is fellow riders get to the desired result quickly and without spending a lot of money . My goal was the same as most people, better visibility, minimal cost. Looking great was in there too. In the end the LEDs required lenses designed for t...

Re: LED guide, my findings.
I've played this game with headlights for the Slingshot, and posted the results many places, hoping to save people time and money. The result is always the same, they spend the time and money to find out it was a waste of time and money. Here's what you need to know to not waste time and money: Firs...

I think WI_hedgehog is a little high tonight  Your probably talking about the Termoscud leg cover? I don’t think they are interchangeable between the old and new model PCXs. I hadn't seen that, it is pretty cool. (Tucano Urbano is a world-wide distributor that started due to the Milan scooter ...

Re: Tucano Urbano and PCX 2014 ?
Urban Tucan (meaning colorful/fun scooter driver; Milan, Italy) is a re-seller of quality goods. They carry some bags, but I'm guessing you are referring to a hard case, most likely one they no longer carry. Can you be more specific about the product? An item name, size, model number, general descri...
