one of the oil's enemies is air (oxygen) even having run a little, the oil loses lubricating power, your pcx change has one. cost of 2/3€ if that.. it is easy to exchange. I don't see the reason not to change it from year to year or at the indicated mileage.

the gasket must always be new. because the joint comes with a height to be crushed when it is tightened that's what makes the seal. when assembling the new gasket you must start the motorcycle for 5 to 10 minutes stopped in place to warm up the engine and open the thermostat, to picture the circuit....
