Re: Temptation
For a 1,000 chf (once you sold your one) I'd get the new one. Screens are not expensive and as above you'll have a few upgrades with the newer model. All down to personal choice really. Go for it!

Re: Idle Stop
I used it twice, one of which was just to demonstrate to friends how quickly it fired off from idle. Haven't used it since. I don't stop that often on my commute so see no use for it. It does work very well however.

Re: Cruise control
On an old cb500 I used to do loads of motorway riding and when I wanted to I just put a rubber o ring between the throttle and bar stop. It held the throttle in whatever position you wanted so you could ease your wrists. £1.50 part that you can install or uninstall whenever you liked.

In the UK it's a nod with your head. Bikers do it but not so much with scooters

Fair point on a better jacket mines a bit old. Used to wear yellow road workers rain coat, seriously visible and keeps you dry. Or been looking at these, doesn't matter what he's on he's well covered and look how happy he is : D

Wet season in the UK
Screen or no screen? My Burgman used to keep the rain of nicely and after this weekends belting rain I was out there thinking should I fit one. Could always swap them in the summer.

Am now Just over a 100 miles and it's reading 110.3, I don't think I'm wot very often but do pull away as quickly as possible. I guess the average w...

Re: accident
[quote="butch3r"]I never really liked the relatively small width of the tires for the pcx150. I think that has partially contributed to wobble and 2 accidents here in los angeles. anyways, because the accident, geico wants to salvage the 2013 scooter and give me a net of $2k. I'm wondering...

PCX shelter
Nearly all my bikes have lived outside under a rain cover. I did once live in a house that had a garage which was perfect but no more garage for me. How does the PCX fair in wetter weather? Based in UK the rain is always a factor and I've been thinking of building a lean to as well as building a gat...

Re: What Would Happen If....
I spent alot of time on the burgmanusa forum (previous bike) and that kept me logged in unless I shut the page or logged out, also had a participated option so you could see threads that you were commenting on ect. The pcx forum I have to log in on each visit. Might smash that record if it can keep ...

Re: Burgman 400 to PCX 125
Spoilt for choice for scenery in NZ, Wintery Bone is one of my favourites in there, That's the kind of view a good ride out rewards you with : ) I hitched around the south island with a friend seeing as many places as we could get to, by hook or by crook I think the saying goes. Made it to Queenstow...
