Re: Takegawa Power Silent Oval INSTALLED!!
i think the exhaust would look great with at least 6 - 8 inches chopped off the end. It does look long from the angle of the pics I took. I wish I could find a more reasonable priced exhaust that was sold in the US as I'd like a performance exhaust on both of my PCX's. Not ready to plunk down close...

Re: How cold will you ride?
I live in San Diego and I people say it doesn't get cold.. coldest I've ever been is 32 Fahrenheit, last winter. add the wind chill factor of 65 miles an hour brings it down to like 27f.. this year I might get some super warm winter gloves.

Re: Rear Wheel noise
I just ordered the needle bearing. It should be showing up Friday afternoon. I will do a quick writeup on how to properly replace the bearing with basic tools for the normal diy person!

Re: clutch sound... help?
The needle bearing is shielded from all elements because two things. It’s incased by the rear Torque Driver, and there is a top sealed bearing at the top. If it was open you would lose a great deal of grease. So that can’t be the issue as other folks are having the same issue. I could tell you it’s ...

Re: Rear Wheel noise
Thanks for taking the time to make the videos guys, I needed that. To see/hear those "whooshing/swooshing" questionable sounds. homie, I did notice that our 2015's sound identical when hand spinning the rear wheel (both forward and backward). So is it safe to say that we're in the clear a...

Re: Another tire change / Input thread
This is how i do my tires. To break the rim, you can either do two things... If you have a big a$$ c-clamp that will work, a vise, or a flat nose shovel as we call it here in the states. For the shovel technique, put the wheel on carpet or grass lawn. Align the shovel on the side of the tire and jum...

Re: Rear Wheel noise
This way when I get home I can give my variator a good cleaning as it has baked on roller dust all over it, the only downside to the NYC Teflon Coated Variator. Scooterman has placed this teflon coated variator on my wish list... should I revisit that choice? It was to be used in conjunction with 1...

Re: Rear Wheel noise
I'm 100% sure it's the needle bearings in the rear of the Torque Driver. I rotated the wheel with no clutch or torque driver on it, and it was fairly silent. I got everything taken apart last night, resgreased everything, and decided it would be safer to drive the civic this morning to work. This wa...

Re: Rear Wheel noise
I heard it in person told him there was a bad noise sounds like a bearing to me, grindy when spinning the wheel either direction I thought the gear oil has no oil, or bearing in the gears is going bad was my guess im driving the car in the morning. i think it's the torque driver needs new grease. a...

i'd have to order the black plastic either from our neighbors in MX, or overseas. I didn't care to get it replaced just yet, but it doesn't look bad either. I'll try to get pics later.

Doesn't matter what you rode, we all had one thing in common. The love and freedom of the open road on two wheels. That's what it's all about and enjoying life.
