Re: Check engine light PGM-FI

Managed not manic in first post.

Is there any way to have power on with a battery drain if the key was
removed from the seat/ fuel position vs the off locked position? Obviously the engine is not running and the lights are off.

Re: Windshields, helmet buffeting, and top end speed issues.

Personally, I leave the stock WS as is and just have a face shield (if not already) on your helmet. I ride with my 3/4 mc helmet w face shield (lifts up & Down) on anything I ride. Do as one desires - no right way, just your way.

UWelcome - It's what the forum is for. Somewhat little experience here myself, but everyone seems very helpful. Some pointed me towards this solution - paying it forward. 'just noticed you mentioning recall - I think that was on an earlier model of the rack.

Re: Top Luggage Box

New forum member here. I have been looking for a top box that I like and can fit onto the '15 pcx with Honda rack. I love the SH150i SMRBIKE posted pics of. But I can't find it anywhere. You just got it last year. Where did you get it? Are they still available? From your other pics your bike has th...

Re: Top Luggage Box

FYI, the case from the SH150i I purchased/installed is 35 Liters and is capable of holding my entire full face helmet with its windscreen attached (closed position) without any problem and room to spare for other stuff. Not quite a crate, but a wonderful acceptable compromise. If I need more, I'll t...

Re: Top Luggage Box

No, that pic was not my bike. I used it because it was a pic that showed the correct OEM Honda rack the box attaches to. Thanks for the info on the seat, I'll bypass looking for it after your feedback, it just was "cooler" looking and I thought it would provide passenger separation.

Re: Top Luggage Box

Win-Win! And it looks great. I also noticed the 'Hump' is now gone. No, sorry for the confusion, that was from another poster's (former50cc) bike. I was trying to find out where he purchased that seat. I like the "hump". If he is listening or anyone knows, please let me know. Thanks. I ju...

Re: Top Luggage Box

All finished (a few weeks ago, delay in uploading pics). Here it is. I ordered/used the Honda PCX150 mount from my local Honda dealer (apx $42) as I looked and decided what to do as far as a luggage box. After this forum's input, web searches, and talking to my local dealer, Ordered a red SH150I box...

Re: Top Luggage Box

As it turns out, I am probably going to spend the $$$ to get a good solution. I thought, until I looked deeper, the non-honda brand boxes are apx the same price. I received bad info - it was the attachment they were normally advertising with a pic of the box - misleading bait and switch. I am probab...

Re: Top Luggage Box

The Honda Attachment is $42. It was a simple bolt on with no drilling. I figured that could always manufacture an aluminum adapter plate if I wanted a different top box. Same rack from different forum user's bike. The flat surface should allow any box's adapter to be bolted on. I need to find out wh...

Re: Top Luggage Box

I ordered the Honda rack attachment as a starting point. Can the other top boxes (GIVI, Shad, …) attach to it or, must I use their specific attachment rack instead? If so, I may be "forced" to purchase the Honda box. FYI to all, on the 2016 model (at least), there is a plate that covers th...

Top Luggage Box

What top box has anyone added for additional storage on a 2016 PCX150? The Most important item is how a /which Rear Trunk Attachment Kit "support frame" attaches to PCX's chassis for the actual box to mount to. No desire to spend $400 buying Honda's approved item.

You may be confusing English and Metric.
0.009" equals 0.2286 mm

Google "convert in mm"

Re: Valve Clearance Check

I guess the only "reason" to NOT do it as suggested is the pain in the rear to remove and then reattach all of the plastic body parts. That's 75-85% of the time/workload. If not for that, undoing valve cover and adjusting would be a 10-20 minute operation.
