Re: Fuel Cleaners
I am a stickler when it comes to my PCX so I put Seafoam in ever so often, whether it needs it or not. Unless the fuel already in the bike is near empty when you get it, put some Seafoam in it and change the oil. Then ride it for a week or two and change the oil again. The Seafoam with work well fo...

Fuel Cleaners
First, let me apologize for all the questions I will be asking over the coming weeks. I’m just so excited to start riding again after a year absence. My new ride, the yet to be named 2015 with about 12k on it, has an unknown history. It wasn’t regularly serviced at the dealership that I purchased it...

Re: My new (to me) PCX. I get delivery the week of July 2
Hi WhiteNoise, yes it’s the one with about 12,000 km on it. I agree, I fit the PCX. The Forza was just too big for me. I felt comfortable on it right away, and was able to get it on it’s centre stand BY MYSELF. That makes me so happy. My poor (non riding) husband had to help me park the Forza. Waiti...

Re: I’m back
I wish you were close to Georgia because I would gladly let you try my PCX to see if you can maneuver it, and maybe even take it around the block. I am pretty confident that you would find it to be quite a bit easier to maneuver both while riding and when parking it...and I would be glad to show yo...

Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
Thanks everyone, appreciate the response. This is at the dealership so it will be certified and I can see how comfortable I am with rolling it around and it’s weight, balance etc.

The one I’m looking at has 12,000 km on it. I converted to miles.

Re: I’m back
A seventy pound dog jumping, pouncing, or generally crashing into your knee would suck without a previous injury. I visibly winced as I read your first description. Once the Forza, or any motorcycle really, gets too far over, leverage is on its side and you have a big problem if you are underneath....

Re: I’m back
Perhaps riding scooters is not for you. What is your weight? I can't imagine a dog jumping on a knee breaking the knee. If you have serious underweight conditions, can not support a leaning bike or put one on center stand, perhaps that is not something that is safe for you with either scooter. Safe...

Re: I’m back
Can you update regarding how your Forza contributed to a serious injury?! Fish As some of you may recall, I was a fairly new rider. Last year, while I was parking my Forza, it starting leaning to the left. As it was a brand new bike, I was determined not to let it drop, and held it in place. I soun...

I’m back
I’m back after almost a year away. I sold my Forza as it was too heavy for me, and contributed to a serious leg injury. I really miss riding and am very seriously thinking about a PCX. Is it more manageable than the Forza? I was unable to roll the Forza around easily and couldn’t get it up on its ce...

Re: Thinking of downsizing to a PCX
Thanks everyone for your comments and observations. I’m not ready to give up riding, my body is fairly strong even at my advanced age of 60. Lol.
I think my next step is to go and look at lighter bikes.

Re: Thinking of downsizing to a PCX
Your instincts are correct. Struggling with, or being intimidated by a scooter you've had for a year is not what the riding experience is all about. A clean, low mileage Forza will be a nice trade in on a smaller scooter. What are your local dealers selling? Piaggio, Kymco, Yamaha, Honda and Vespa ...
