Tyre pressures

Just wondering how often you guys adjust your tyre pressures.

Just checked and my tyres are a few PSI flat, so I'll need to head to the garage ASAP to pump them up.

Do you guys pump to 29 psi front/ 33 psi rear, or slightly higher than that?

Re: Optimum Garage Humidity

What the hell are you talking about? Cheap disposable utility vehicle? You're talking about a Honda Lead, or one of those crappy little Peugeot scooters. The PCX is at the high- end of the market for 125 scooters. The only step up from a PCX is the current Yamaha Xmax 125. If the scale is 1-10 for l...

Idling stop "safety concerns"?

This is taken from the Wikipedia page for honda pcx: "The global version of the Honda PCX is equipped with an idling stop system, which automatically shuts off the PCX when stopped. This feature is not included on the US model due to safety concerns" Lol, what "safety concerns"? ...

Re: Lane Splitter doesn't pay enough attention!

All I am saying is that different environments call for different driving techniques. The east- Asia argument is not really relevant. I was just using that as an analogy to draw a comparison to European cities in terms of how common scooters are and how common filtering is. Personally, I think reall...

Lane Splitter doesn't pay enough attention!

Sorry Johnny, but I'm one of those "some" who will undoubtedly disagree with you! Here in London, lane- splitting/ filtering is probably the number 1 reason people buy a bike in the first place. There is no point in owning one if you're not going to do it. Personally I think it is perfectl...

Re: Graze repair

I've got the three bottles that I need to paint the graze. Now I'm not sure what the process should be. Do I need to use a primer first? Do I need to buy sandpaper? I have never touched up paint before so please treat me like the idiot that I am.

Re: How to change the Time on the Dash

Yeah I worked out how to do it yesterday! Turn the key to the ignition position. Make sure the odometer (overall mileage) is displayed. Then hold the button down for a few seconds. Then the clock will start to flash. If you hold the button down, the time will advance by 10 minutes at a time. If you ...

Re: Yamaha SMAX competitor to the PCX is now live.

There will be no market for it here in the UK because most people ride scooters on a CBT provisional license, which allows you to ride a bike not exceeding 125CC in power. That's why the Xmax is more popular here.

Re: Advice on Jacket/Trousers

I have a Bering Gizmo jacket. Very comfy, warm, has removable thermal lining with pockets for heat packs, shoulder and elbow protection. The thing I love about it is that it's a great looking jacket and you don't look out of place wearing it if you're not on the bike. It doesn't look like a "mo...
