Re: Scan Tool for Honda Scooters??
I have replaced the ECU in the past with a 2nd hand one, will this method show previous faults(from the scooter it came from) if it has not been reset? If so Does anyone know the method for resetting the ECU to erase historical faults? Cheers Try having a look at the links I posted above - someone ...

Re: Scan Tool for Honda Scooters??
Who is going to be the first? I already did it this morning and got a solid orange CEL/MIL on the dash. Nothing started smoking or caught fire, and the scoot started normally. Iceman's link to the CBR500 forum confirms you bridge the solid green and brown wires, which is what I said it was for the ...

Re: Aftermarket Variator + Drive Belt = Failure at ~3,500 mi
I'm sure someone once posted an air scoop mod forcing more air through the existing inlet, i'm sure a mod like that would help. i have used a malossi multivar in my 2013 pcx for 3 years and have used a stock belt, malossi kevlar belt and am currently using a daytona belt. I have had to throw the mal...

Re: Speedometer, odometer and idle stop not working
I had the same issue on my 2013 it turned out to be the wire that goes to the speed sensor. Try removing the air box and testing the wire running underneath it.

Re: PCX won't start in cold
Great news. Glad you got it sorted; I know that wasn't much fun for a while there. Plug 'n Play wins again! Sorry about that tupperware thing. They say after you do it a couple of times it gets easier. Schedule some more for next week, or no? Johnny Thanks and yeah it had me stumped for a while, I ...

Re: PCX won't start in cold
Picked up a 2nd hand wiring harness with all relays + fuses etc swapped them and still same issue. Im gonna swap out the sub harness next Hopefully that will be the problem otherwise the blame may be on the ecu. I have checked all connectors and they are all clean and free from corrosion. I'll updat...

Re: Pcx150 smart key new owner
Just bought the new PCX 150 keyless. As the instruction manual is in Thai it's pretty much useless. I downloaded one from the net in English but its not the keyless model. On the remote there are 3 buttons. Top one is a picture of a motorbike, middle one looks like a horn & bottom one a picture...

Re: PCX won't start in cold
Hi Honkerman thanks for your response,
I think i'm gonna call a few auto electricians tomorrow while i have all the tupperware off and see if they'll be able to come to the scoot rather than taking it to a honda dealer and having to remortgage to pay the bill!

Re: Achieving 70mph
I upgraded the variator to a malossi multivar kit and the difference was amazing compared to stock which was 62mph top speed, to 75-79mph(ideal conditions with a windshield). A windshield is a must for us big "air brake" type frames it helps dramatically both acceleration and top end.
