Re: Thinking of downsizing to a PCX

Two days ago, after a very successful ride of about 40 km, I nearly dropped my Forza on my friends driveway. Lucky for me, a man was outside and saw my problem and came over to help me right the bike. The bike is fine, not a scratch, but my knee is seriously injured. Three torn ligaments. Lucky for...

Winter storage

I live in Ontario and unfortunately can’t ride my Forza from November til probably April, due to ice and snow. My question is what do you do to winterize your ride? I’ve got heated storage arranged for mine. Should I add fuel stabilizer to the gas tank? The battery will be on a trickle charger. Any ...

Help needed

Does that piece at the rear of the bike, where the top box would sit, come off easily, and if so how? I'd like to remove it to take to an automotive paint store to have the colour mixed for touch ups. Next question, how did I post pictures? Is there a link to a tutorial someone could post? Thanks!

Friction Zone

Is it possible to get into the "friction zone" ie: riding the clutch on a geared bike on a Forza? I'd like to master this for slow move maneuvers like u-turns.

Am I correct that I could apply a little rear brake, and give it a bit of throttle?

Re: Sandymay made me smarter... Or did she ???

Thanks Johnny....all the more reason for me to continue to work on being able to get her up on her centre stand by myself. My hubby puts it up on it for me about once a week, and I check all my lights then. I am relying heavily on the dashboard for information, maybe too much? First bike and I'm suc...

Re: First boo boo

I am passing though Abbotsford bc. The sometimes murder capital of Canada. There is a bloody t-shirt behind my Forza. I am going to get some bullet hole stickers to cover my booboo's. I have been in the middle of a shoot out in this town. I moved. I did think about decals to cover up any boo boos.....

Re: First boo boo

Boo boos are common and easy to come by, so might want to get an adequate paint supply that is correct for your year and model.First resource would be your dealership but you can also contact these companies by phone or email and perhaps they can get some made for you as well . The paint code is mo...

Re: First boo boo

One thing I've found that works good for minor nicks and scratches is fingernail polish. There are so many different colors, it is easy to find a very close match. And, they are cheaper than "official" touch-up paints. Use a fine artist paint brush and it comes out very nice. Awesome idea...

Re: Gas Mileage

If done right, the center stand will work easily by smaller people if: Use your foot to extend to ground making sure you feel BOTH pads hit ground. This is critical. Now push down and forward with foot , while grasping bike to go up and back. Thanks Jge64....I keep practicing to master the centre s...

Re: Gas Mileage

Getting a bike on the center stand is not a matter of effort but technique. Have the dealer show you how. My Majesty scooter is much heavier & very easy WHEN you know how. Over the years I have obtained several different sizes of fuel cans. I don't like to carry a lot of gas & have downsize...

Re: Gas Mileage

Fill the tank very slowly, hold the nozzle at the very lip of the tank, watch your face. I always fill it on the side stand. The Forza ain't no Harley ( some Harley's lean a lot on the side stand) so it makes no difference hardly. You have a Canadian Forza, so pay attention where you park the Forza...

Thanks everyone for all the tips...one more question, I still can't get her up on her centre stand....working on it...but is it ok to fill up when she is on her kick stand? Thanks Maverick for the links and your advice, much appreciated. I have taken the course three times and also added extra train...

good idea. Never thought the gauge might not be as accurate as a car. This is my first bike and I'm very much a newbie.

Gas Mileage

How far can I go on 3/4 tank of gas in the Forza? Planning my first longest trip tomorrow, to a neighbouring city and it will be 50 miles round trip.

Thanks!
