Re: Fork Stabilizer

Reminds me of the Tele-Fix I had on my last bike(R75) (which DID make a difference). These 150's are rock-solid so yeah, there might not be a noticeable difference (other than the money spent).

Re: Rear brake pad wear

Ask your mechanic if there's a problem with the caliper/system and if not, is this normal wear? If the caliper is bad it will need repair or replacement.

Re: Oil strainer cap part number?

Are you asking about the cap over the strainer with the o-ring on it or the bolt retaining the P-clip to the crankcase holding the rear brake cable(just above the strainer cap)? The title of the thread sounds like you damaged the cap, itself, which is not a bolt. The question asked sounds like the b...

Re: Brake noise

On a PCX, the front brake(only) is the right lever(with the front fluid reservoir). It loads on the rotor much more(two more pistons) (so you can hear the holes). The left lever operates the rear brake and two of the pistons in the front brake caliper(that's the "linked" feature). On moder...

Re: Brake noise

Normal. The right brake is the front and the rotor has holes drilled through it, making that sound as you apply pressure.

Re: 2015 Wiring Diagram

These are a bit better. I started at the upper left and worked my way down the left half, followed by the right half, starting again at the top. I'f you download the images you may be able to reconstruct the whole thing in your photo editor. Also, if you let me know what you're trying to find out I ...

Re: cold start problem

Quick update. Fuel injector replaced but a new fault code showed up. Rather than wait an hour for engine to cool down before checking cold start they cleared the fault and said to test it. They did say if still a prob then they'd replace main ecu. Well, next morning full of hope, press the button.....

Re: 2016 PCX

I think this has been debunked, there is no minimum cc required to ride an interstate. There is a minimum speed requirement of 40 mph which is about it, which rules almost all 49ccs off the Interstate. Even my Vino 125 can only do 35 mph up 6% grades so that rules it out, while my old CBR 125R coul...

Re: pcx 150 windshield

I have this one: http://www.nationalcycle.com/n20052.html It's their tallest one. Very happy with it. I'm 5'8" and it comes up about mouth-height, so JUST enough.
Another inch or so would have made it ideal.

He was trying to hit them. Battery with a vehicle? Nice move gramps! He started to criticize their riding (apparently didn't like their passing). Needs to lose his license at the very least.

Re: so

How old are you? I'm old so I downsized to a PCX. Might upsize a bit to a Burgman in a couple seasons, but that would be it. I'd like to be able to do SOME highway in my area and 80 mph is the going rate.
If you're young and haven't had a powerful gear-bike, by all means get one and enjoy it.

Decent car wax after a good cleaning. Try to keep oxidizing chemicals off the metal. I've seen some chemical fallout around here that pits paint, as well.

Gonna need more info than that. What belt, miles on the bike, mileage between belt breakage, etc.
With what you put up so far, I recommend putting the stock parts in and calling it well enough.

Aromatic naphtha(lighter fluid) is ok for cleaning glue as is Goo-Gone, or any other naphtha-containing solvent. These bikes are all acrylic paint. Gasoline works too, without harm.

Aside from all of this there is one thing that is holding back progress in the hydrogen fuel arena. There are very few refueling points for hydrogen fuel. Once upon a time the same could be said of petroleum fuels. Its a chicken and egg thing, the only way hydrogen will become viable is through pol...
