MRA X-Creen
Has anyone tried the smaller Sport Add-On Variable Windscreen Spoiler Blade. Not the Touring one. I have the GIVI windshield and the buffeting and turbulence is terrible. The Spoiler Blade comes with the bolt-on and clamp on hardware. I thought about the Saeng Edging but I like the adjustment featur...

Re: Cell phone mount?
I agree with Mel. I bought the RamMount handlebar mount. It has a u-bolt and includes a high quality grooved spacer for 7/8" and use no spacer for 1" handlebars. I bought 2 off eBay on a deal and no shipping charges. I leave the ball mount on other bikes and just move the arm and accessory...

Re: PCX top speed
Just remember to get the most speed out of your PCX, you also micro manage other items. Use a synthetic 10w30 instead of 10w40 or 20w50. Your differential should have synthetic also, 10w30 up to a 75w90 gear oil. Synthetic will run cooler. Heat is cause by friction, which is horsepower. The tire pre...

Re: This should be fun! Going to get a new exhaust!
Has anyone used this LeoVince exhaust? Will it add better performance? I mean just the ride ability. Are there any dyno reports. For $211.00 this is a reasonable price for ride-ability and better performance. Plus I do like the sound!

Re: speed wobble
I have witnessed many high speed wobbles, also saw crashes. One of them was a rider being bucked off at 80mph with helmet, leather jacket and no gloves. Worst road rash I have ever seen. When you start to experience high speed wobble the worse thing you can do is abruptly close the throttle. Try to ...

Re: Transmission oil check/change !!
I also use Mobil 1 75w90 synthetic. If someone tells you that 10w30 syn oil will do the same thing as the 75w90 gear oil is wrong. Gears are subjected to different type of load than an engine. With the gears turning in the differential they are grinding against each other. In my Peterbilt 379 I used...

Re: New Member
I will seriously recommend the NCY Variator, 13gram rollers, NCY driveface and new Honda belt. (Unless the one now is in great shape) My 2013 PCX150 went from about 63mph indicated, to about 75mph with no wind, flatland and doing the Bonneville Salt Flats tuck! Makes this PCX more rideable out on US...

Re: Saeng Microswirl --- Anybody use it?
I've been reading these posts about buffeting and what to do. I read about Saeng micro edging and I also went to their site. Then today I had this big "I can't believe it!" I bought a new tool box (tamale wagon size) and quickly transferred everything from the old box. A couple of weeks la...

Re: Seat re-cover
When you recovered your seat, did you start with a flat piece of vinyl and then tack it down in the front of the pan and keep stretching it as you moved to the back of the seat? I'm wondering cause I'm going to attempt it myself.

Re: which topbox?
My opinion, don't get the Shad if you like quality motorcycle accessories. I would get ahold of "TourandRide.com" and look into a 'Kappa' Topcase. Same as a Givi, but does not cost near as much. I have a Kappa 35L and have had in on 4 different motorcycles. I have to order a Givi mount for...

NCY Variator, Drive Face and Weights
Mel46 I listened to sound advice and installed the NCY Variator, NCY 13gram rollers,NCY Drive Face and new Honda OEM Drive Belt. I tested it on the centerstand with no load and WOT was at 79mph. Out on the Interstate going down a long grade 76mph. It was real windy out so that's all the testing I di...

Re: Valves
Just a note for valve adjustment. I have 5,500mi on my 2013 PCX. I had a small anti frz leak and after tracking it down, turned out the nipple that the hose from the radiator is attached is broken. Ordered a new one online and I believe it was $5.82. I also wanted to adjust the idle speed for my lik...

Re: HondaPcx150 Vs Suzuki Burgman 200
Mel46, Thanks for the reply. I have read numerous conversations about variator, drive face and rollers. I trust your judgement. You have spoken up about a lot of threads on the subject. I am a FAA Licensed A&P mechanic so I do have mechanical knowledge. I have no performance upgrades in my 2013 ...

Re: HondaPcx150 Vs Suzuki Burgman 200
Mel46, Are you using the stock drive belt? If not what pn# and brand of belt? Also where did you purchase your parts? I have called numerous places that sell NCY and Yuminashi but know nothing about the theory of what all the parts do. Are you using "rollers" or "sliders"?? One p...

Re: Pro & Cons, Switching from Burgman 650 to Forza
I used to have a 2012 Suzuki Burgman 650 Exec. and I will never have one again. It's nice and convenient but to service it can be a pain in the ass. The good thing is no belt! Automotive style CVT. No belt going to back differential. Fuel mileage in not the best. I think the best I ever had was 52.5...

Maybe the interval is longer because it may actually have a real oil filter and not a screen to catch big birds and bugs!!Tom192 wrote:4000k service intervals is a massive difference wonder if the oil capacity is greater?
