Re: Ditch the Expense of Car/Truck/SUV Ownership and . . ..
Owning nothing but 2 wheels is for the (1)young and (2)dumb, or for those with great (3)public transportation. I once did #'s 1 and 2. Then just #2. Never had #3. But if you live in Florida and never have a family buy a poncho and do it. (I've had a family since Dec 1967, 6 children and several Hond...

Mel, I don't know about the IQ of your state's cats - but I've been watching this cat cross busy Rt 68 for years without incident.

Re: Front flat tyre - only a few months old
Good job the tire didn't come off the rim edge in a corner!
If it's hard to roll or hard to turn when not yet riding - you've a flat, don't ride until you inflate with your underseat gear!

Re: Xmas Eve 'eve ride. Wise? & Cat
You might be surprised at the business this little upstairs shop does... (Toxic Beauty Records) Folks line up before sunrise to buy new releases. More than once daughter and I've watched him come out the door with 10 or so large album shaped mailing packages to take around the corner to the post off...

Merry Christmas - Happy Holidays from St. Pete, Florida. Here is to a better 2021. Thanks to everyone who makes this forum possible. Lots of wisdom here. And to you! Sadly - 1st year in over a decade we couldn't get to St Pete Beach this summer! Hope Woody's Waterfront didn't close! (my fav place t...

Xmas Eve 'eve ride. Wise? & Cat
https://i.postimg.cc/WzK1SZXT/P1110817-3.jpg Rain and temps falling below freezing for a Christmas eve sunrise ride tomorrow ... so, I rode out this morning at 5:30AM, mid 20's with 15 mph winds. I was bundled up enough - just about comfortable most everywhere - and as I rode in the dark windy nigh...

did you get to see the christmas Star?
Sky finally cleared here so that we could see the Christmas Star in the SW sky just as predicted. This planetary conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn is pretty cool to see. We walked down to the corner and saw it over the neighbor's house. https://i.postimg.cc/QM1VpwXf/P1120945.jpg Cleaning the lights ...

along the lines of "if it's slippery it'll be fine":
Rural King is having a Xmas sale on tubs of bacon fat.
Just push it in, I guess.
Think of the lovely smells at long stop lights......

 I don't know about you, but I find it hard to drink coffee with my helmet and mask on... :) It helps a little when I flip the face shield up, but that mask is still a problem. I thought about putting a straw hole in it, but that doesn't work very well with hot coffee. Hmmm...maybe I will hav...

Re: New Kymco scooters. What do you guys think?
I wonder why sight glasses for engine oil are very rare or non-existent in scooters. Cost more than the dipsticks? Fail more often? I actually have never seen a scooter with a sight glass. Yamaha Zuma 125 has the oil dipstick . . .. Yamaha XMax 300 has the sight glass . . .. TBH I prefer a sight gl...

What bike got you into this?
https://i.postimg.cc/QMc5cCJS/Honda-S90-Right-Side1.jpg I'd ridden a beat up one of these around SoCal (illegally - no license) in 1967. Wife and I bought a new white one in 1968 as our only transportation in Massachusetts. She painted flowers all over it. We rode that thing all over N.E. and had a...
