Re: Refreshing 50cc Racing . . . Will Make You Grin!
I had a Honda Hell Cat 450 DOHC in the late 60's. Factory red line was 12,000. 4 speed went exactly 10 MPH per 1000 rev's in 4th- thus 100 MPH @ 10,000, 120 MPH @ 12,000 rpm. And yes, it could. This was the bike that led me to abandon British bikes (and more) completely. Sorry, we didn't take pic's ...

Yeah, I like the looks of them.
Don't forget these transmission's have been severely tested (beaten on, in the case of a few Big Reds we had),
they just don't break.
If I was 57 instead of 70.!!Ha!
If I didn't live in the middle of 3/4 million lunatic cagers I'd have one in a NY min. Even at 70+.

Re: Small accident - PCX 125, 2013 needs replacement fairing
If it was mine..... take the panel off, repair the crack with superglue, take the black rub marks off with T-cut or similar then clean it up and put it back on. If you don't fancy that idea and want the repair to look pristine, you'll need to replace the pillion footpeg and the floor panel as well ...

I remember something about a "reset" button/switch for after an accidental 'lay down'.
Don't remember the details. I'm sure someone will find it in the manual.

Re: Tail of The Mouse
I had a MG Midget way back, like this. A very small car, hardly any room for beer. Changed the vbelt to run only the generator-no water pump or fan in the winter. Sometimes it would idle all day/night in front of my local bar. The fuel gauge never seemed to move. It was the only way to get any heat ...

We used a level on the seat at riding height and put 1/2-3/4" more foam on the 'snout'.
Never slide forward again coming to a stop. Tried to stretch the new fabric but wound up having
a pro do it.
