Re: Just rollers vs complete variator
Well so far you have backtracked multiple times, so I can't tell what you really want information on. Without adding anything else, the 13 gram rollers will help acceleration but not top end. As far as the drive face and variator go, after being on this forum for quite some time, and reading all of...

Just rollers vs complete variator
Hi gang, Since I was talking to myself mostly in the other thread I thought I would narrow the scope a little and start fresh. I'm after your thoughts and opinions on just getting 13g rollers for the stock variator vs a complete variator and drive face with rollers? To compliment just the 13g roller...

Re: Across Australia on a PCX150
Nice ride! Still must be challenging. :) I would worry about the range on a single tank. Circa 300 km may not be enough in Australia to find a fuel station ;) Hey mate, Good to hear they have the PCX in Poland. I have a good mate over there I'd like to visit some day. The longest stretch on this tr...

Re: 2012 PCX 150 ESP mods to start with
Hi gang, Based on Mel's advise - going off the images at Webike, the only variator kit with a drive face is by Kitaco (http://japan.webike.net/products/21552400.html or http://japan.webike.net/products/21552399.html), which appears to reuse the stock variator cap/plate and stockish 15g rollers... I ...

Re: My PCX in Jeopardy
Dad successfully kept me off bikes when I was a teenager, and now he's not on this earth anymore I just couldn't resist the urge any longer and bought the PCX. 35 years of bicycle riding and 22 years of driving cars had finally given me enough road sense not to do anything stupid. I just wish other ...

Re: HondaPcx150 Vs Suzuki Burgman 200
Perhaps if the new Yamaha 155 had a cruising speed of 110 kph and could sit all day on that without screaming, any one have this kind of info on one yet?... ...that may well be an other option ...I will test ride one when it becomes available...I consider the forosa..just a little to heavy for me a...

I've seen the SX-Appeal Pak-Rest seat bag back rest and the Utopia backrest that bolts to the seat.

Hey homie,
The seat doesn't bother me, except I wish I had a backrest... I might get one of the seat bags to lean back on and lose the top box?

Re: 2012 PCX 150 ESP mods to start with
Hi Mel, In Australia we classically refer to the year of manufacture as the year model, but this is not a hard and fast rule. I have the KF12(E), and for all intents and purposes here, it is referred to as a 2012 model for bill of sale, registration and insurance. I will admit I know nothing about t...

Re: 2012 PCX 150 ESP mods to start with
Hi all, After doing some reading on here, a performance variator and reinforced belt seem like good options to start with. Although I don't know how they compare to a stock variator with upgraded contra spring and rollers? Is the difference significant? How do Kitaco, Daytona, Takegawa and NCY shape...

2012 PCX 150 ESP mods to start with
Hi gang, This week I take delivery of my first scooter (motorcycle for that matter) - a 2012 PCX 150 with less than 3000km. :D One of the things I noticed on the test ride was that it had a significant flat spot between 50-80kph, which I've seen corroborated on dyno graphs. My initial goals with the...
