Hey Jeremy,
I have the basic YSS shocks on mine. I'm not sure how much of am improvement they make in the ride -- maybe some, maybe not -- but they look great! Big improvement over the stock OEM ones, so that's something, I guess.

Re: Texas flooding...
Dgnyberg is right!
Texas does have annual inspections, but I can't think of anything in the inspection that would trigger that the car had been in a flood.

Rick,
That fat washer goes on the outside (the visible side) of the lower front bolt, not the bolt through the shock. the nuts go on the inside.

Re: First oil change and screen cleaning
The difference in fill-up capacities is because the area around the screen filter holds some oil which doesn't get drained unless you take out the screen filter and then lean the scoot over towards the left side to let it all drain out. But even after doing all that mine still doesn't take quite a q...

Mel, I had a cracked reservoir on mine, don't know why it cracked, but it did right at the outlet tube. I tried several ways to fix it, including epoxy, but nothing worked, so I broke down and bought a new one. They cost like 29 cents. They're easy to change out, but you have to remove some tupperwa...

Welcome Tnt,
You got a great deal on a great scooter. The 2014 and 2016 are identical, so that doesn't matter, and they both have about the same trade-in or partex value.
Welcome to the forum.

Good Idea. Also I believe I heard WhiteNoise say that the mods could create a special section here in Forzaland if there were enough interest in such a thing. I vote yea.

Rick, no can do, sorry.
But I can't imagine how it would be worth your while to make these when you can just buy them ready-to-go. These are really nice, beautiful parts and they come equipped with everything you need.

Good idea, youyou. I vote for Homie, too.
If we put just the pieces and videos he's done so far in one place that would make an excellent start for the section.

Re: Does my scooter I confuse you?
Not confusing to me -- I love it, especially all the reflective hi-viz stuff and the Canadian flags (I have one on my car's back window) and the LED display (brake and turn signals?) above the license plate. One thing, though. No need to blank out the license plate. No one is going to steal your sco...

Yeah, poor choice of words on my part. They don't change the wheel base, they just make it feel like a longer bike somehow. The old seat-o'-the pants engineering strikes again.
Still not making sense? Dangit!!

30 days , and spot will polish out better. Another great trick is cut a mini spot of 220 grit paper the exact size of a new eraser on the end of a pencil, spot glue it on. Then after 30 days, use it in a circular fashion or in a drill and then you sand only the spot. Ooooo neat trick Jge. Good one....

Re: Sandymay made me smarter... Or did she ???
OK, thanks everybody, I feel better now and my centerstand foot thanks you too. Sandymay, I've become a fanatic about checking my taillights and especially my brake lights every time I ride after having been rear-ended several times over the years. That is sooo not fun and much to be avoided so if I...

Sandymay made me smarter... Or did she ???
Tip 'o the hat to Sandymay 'cuz she said something that made me actually use my brain on a Sunday morning for something other than reading the paper. In her post about fueling the Forza she mentioned that she still wasn't using her centerstand. Now, I can totally understand that because it's really ...

Re: Lowering my forza
Sorry to be late to the game on this topic, but here's what I know about the Bikerzbits lowering brackets. I added them to my Forza last year and immediately noticed two separate things. First, they do lower the seating position somewhat, maybe one or two inches, enough to notice the difference. I s...

Re: New Forza 2016 ABS
Congrats, Markcap, on your new scoot and your super good deal. You're gonna love that scooter. Just about the only service issues on Forzas have been with the rear brakes. If you use the rear brake often, as you may have to in PA, the pads tend to wear out quickly and it's hard to check them for wea...

Re: Refitting the rear wheel
This might help someone, you never know. Just changed the rear tyre and sprayed the "swinging arm bracket. Had a devil of a job getting the wheel off and on again. Damaged the brake shoes. Brake was completely backed off. New shoes were the same until I took the sharp edge off the shoe materia...

It is possible to turn it a few degrees too far, back it off a bit.
