Re: Decisions decisions

Having too much isnt a crime in my book. In the event you find yourself needing the extra hp on the freeway its nice to know your bike will handle it.

Not having enough however can be a safety issue, especially in rush hour traffic when holding up traffic due to insuficient power and speed.

Re: Loading pcx in uhaul

The reason for not transporting it on the stand is that instead of the bumps being soaked up by the suspension, the stand jars in its mountings. This is A Very Bad Thing when the stand mount is a brittle alloy crankcase. This is true and I have not transported my pcx at all. My euro sport however d...

Re: Loading pcx in uhaul

CheapRide, you're Not saying to transport the bike with the centerstand down are you? Just to use the CS to steady the bike while tying it down, then release right? I've read over and over that No stand should be used while transporting. logepoge1, dass wonders and me too, how much stuff are you ha...

Re: Increasing mpg with each fill up?

I currently have 2100 on the clock and even with 20 some miles riding 2 up it ended up at 113 mpg. I changed the oil at 530 some with HP4S and only fed it regular 87. Most of my daily riding is on flat ground and knowing the roads, played the lights. Took it to work 5 days, hit the hardware store a...

Re: Fuel type in us

I use only premium and am getting the 105 to 111 per gallon range. I have not put anything else in the tank. I Only use regular grade and get around 95MPG. Then again I weigh 240 pounds. I think it might help the accuracy of this discussion if folks would also include how much they weigh. ;) I'm 21...

Re: Fuel type in us

I have been wanting to post something on this subject. In my area, there is ethanol-free gasoline available. Should I put on that in my gas tank? The station that sells it is out of my way, but what the heck-it would be a fun ride there and back!!! What's the consensus? Should I dedicate my PCX to ...

Re: New Scooter User

After learning about the center stand issues on the 125's I am hesitant, however if you only use the side stand you should be allright. Past that the PCX wins over the other two hands down in my opinion.

Re: PCX top speed

Apart from changing the ecu, and adding a big bore kit with performance exhaust you will have to put up with the low to mid 60's for top speed.

I like it, and it stands out in a crowd. I get people that aren't even interested in scooters commenting on it.

Re: Stock Shock Absorber Replacement Help

You can check out the shock choices at PowerbyPCX.com If you need more info use the contact button and they will email you back with installation and performance information. Beware they are not cheap. I believe the lowest price shock they have is 69 euros. You might want to ask if that is per shock...
