I am 60+ and the PCX 125 is my very first motorized two wheeler. Grabbed it from a friend who had taken over the notes from his daughter and it only had about 500 miles on the odometer. The 10W-40 will do fine. You don't tell us what part of the world you live in.
I did my own oil change last week, took my time and did well with no problems.
This forum really helps in so many ways.
