Re: What Would You do?

Thanks for your comments. The PCX does well but is somewhat light as anyone knows. Also, it's value is going down. I'm just thinking out loud and wondering if this is one of those deals that I shouldn't pass up to get a heavier, more solid scooter for a great price? Just reaching out to the forum fo...

What Would You do?

Hello everyone. It's been a while since I have been on here, and then it was in the PCX section. I truly love my 150. Nice scooter, handles well and overall a great machine. Here's my "huge" dilemma. There is a 2014 Forza for sale near me with a whopping 200 miles on the odometer. Apparentl...

Seats From Thailand

I am just like everyone else that has a PCX and hate the seat. Well, Christmas is coming and thought I might drop a few hints to my wife and maybe my grown children that a new seat from PowerbyPCX.com would make me very happy. My question is: the 59 euros I can convert to about $75 or $80 but have n...

Re: why the PCX??

I am now on my second PCX, moving from a 125 to a 150. I chose a Honda because of the quality and reliabilty issue discussed so many times on this forum. The PCX seems to be the right size for me and I stand 5'10" and weigh in at a "sleek" 225 pounds! Am 64 years young and a neighbor ...

I ride with my high beams on during the day. Anything to give me a little more visibility to other
drivers is helpful.

Re: Location! Location! Location!

Location is also very important should someone on the Forum ever want to meet up with others in that area. Also, while on vacation trips forum members could possibly meet each other. And finally, if a forum member were looking at a scoot on Craigslist, EBay, etc., it would be helpful to call on a fe...

Thanks! As the old boy said one day at school: "Now I'm all confused!".

Thanks to everyone for their comments and suggestions. They were all very useful.

Re: Forza versus Majesty

First of all, thanks to all of you for your replies. They were all great and informative, which is why I posted on this forum. I have been to the Yamaha Forum and more specifically the Majesty sub-forum, but quite honestly there is little "going on" there. Go figure. Willajabir-yes, great ...

Forza versus Majesty

I currently own a 2011 PCX 125. Am satisfied with the scoot but even though I consider myself a rookie, the scoot seems light to me. I read this forum from "cover to cover" and am debating myself about moving to a heavier scoot. At first thought about simply going to a PCX 150 but then rea...

Battery Question

Hello and Happy St Patrick's Day to all of you! So the battery on my PCX 125 is dead and gone despite my charger's best efforts. I went online and found the following: Battery Mart YTZ7S Maintenance Free Battery $45.95 with free shipping. Looks like there are 241 reviews and a large majority of them...

@Mel46: Where did you order your tall screen from? I am looking at Competition Accessories ($164.99 with free shipping).

Thanks.

Re: Givi 323 tall windscreen

I just spoke to customer rep at Competition Accessories regarding a GiviD323DT tall windshield for $165 if I recall properly. Was informed this windshield is on backorder and the guesstimate on them coming in was after the first of the year? My question to the forum is a) should I go ahead and wait ...

Re: How long you been riding?

I am 60+ and the PCX 125 is my very first motorized two wheeler. Grabbed it from a friend who had taken over the notes from his daughter and it only had about 500 miles on the odometer. Having a great time with it with SAFETY being the key word. When out riding I try to be aware of what is around me...

Re: First oil change

The 10W-40 will do fine. You don't tell us what part of the world you live in.
I did my own oil change last week, took my time and did well with no problems.
This forum really helps in so many ways.

Re: Fuel type in us

I have been wanting to post something on this subject. In my area, there is ethanol-free gasoline available. Should I put on that in my gas tank? The station that sells it is out of my way, but what the heck-it would be a fun ride there and back!!! What's the consensus? Should I dedicate my PCX to 1...

Re: need help!

I recently had a very good experience with www.bikebandit.com. Good website, fair pricing, and free shipping
if your order is over $ 100.
Worked out very well for me and the parts came super wrapped so none of them were cracked or broken.

I was very pleased.

Torque Wrench

Getting ready to change my oil for the first time. The photos in the How To section are very helpful. Here's my question: is it really necessary to torque the bolts for the drain plug and the filter plug? I have been changing oil in my vehicles for years and do not own a torque wrench. Just wonderin...

Re: Securing My PCX 125 on a trailer

Thanks to everyone for their input. I certainly learned what to do and more importantly,
what not to do! More than likely I won't be hauling the PCX very often at all, but it sure
helps to learn from you guys the proper way to do things.

Thanks again!!
