Re: Locked my keys under the seat!

actually you can lift up the seat ever so much and fish the keys out. I did this on my 2013 as the seat is not a tight close. I don't think I can do this on my 2016.

Heat Crack in Frame

Was wondering if anyone else had this happen... Last winter, we brought my PCX down to Fla. I noticed after we brought it back, when I was cleaning below the windshield, that the very top of the FRAME, under the black part of the windshield, had melted and cracked!!! It was the intense Florida sun! ...

Re: Life saving tip

WEAR FLUORESCENT GREEN. Or Bright Orange. Don't be in fashion and match your black bike. All you do is blend into the scenery. I even wear bright colors like this when walking the dog. Now, this is not the end-all fix, it is just one of those ideas in the chain that helps. Mel's logic is best... loo...

Re: Givi- tunnel bag

I ended up using a motorcycle bag as a tunnel bag. I have the ends looped around the front turn signals and it stays put. I have my rain gear inside and use the side pocket for my water bottle. If I was going to put anything else of importance in this bag, like a Maddie dog, I would definitely have ...

Re: Problem with the wind

the tall GIVI windscreen DID solve the wind issue. and yes, you have to look through it because it is so tall. I asked the question a while back if rain-x on the windshield helped you look through it while riding in the rain but never received a definitive answer. I looked on other forums and found ...

Re: PCX150 speedo accuracy?

In Pa, if the police want to slow down traffic in town, they put up a blinking sign and when you go past, it say your speed is _ _ . I found a couple of these last summer and did a comparison with my speedometer and what the sign speed said I was going. it was dead on both times.

Re: PCX Centerstand Fail

it's funny but it's painful, too. not sure why he did not just put down the side stand??? at least he had some decency and did not just put the scooter up against the pole! and, the last unfunny thought I had was why did the owner not lock the front fork (key all the way to left, turn the front whee...

Re: MCDMA: PCX 150 vs Forza 300 vs Burgman 650

I'm not even bothering opening the engine to check the valves. There's no more tappet sound, has the same amount of power it does, doesn't use more fuel than it already is using and honestly, if it all does turn to poo, it won't be that expensive to fix. The Hubby does all my vehicle maintenance. h...

Re: Day 1 in my ownership experience

Yesterday, I picked up a used 2013 PCX 150. The unit included a Givi Box and Windshield. I may have overpaid at $2795. The dealer I bought from was about 70 miles from home, so I got a great introduction. Temps were in the 70's, but it was windy. My take - the PCX is an absolute ball to ride! While...

She certainly was a cutie, Mel. it will be hard, these next few days and weeks. I've had to do this 4 times now. just look at the beginning of this thread and you will smile. then, when you are ready, it will happen all over again. not another Miss Pearl but you will save another dog. And, they will...

Re: NYPD get the scooter bug

the Pa state police were at Velocity cycles in Mechanicsburg, Pa this summer for a meeting. they had all their motorcycles there also. I was talking to one of the policeman (nice guy!) and he said you can sit on my bike if you want. I said that's ok, I have the 150 PCX over there and you can sit on ...

nice comparison. you get used to the turn signals and even remind yourself to turn them off. I'll miss putting mine away for the winter, which is soon to be here in Pennsylvania

Re: What is your favorite BEER!?

yes, Women do like beer! My favorite is an oatmeal stout. I like Guinness, half and half, anything a bit heavy and dark for the first beer. My Favorite beer is what is on closeout this month at the local distributor. in Pa, we are in the dark ages and have beer distributors for beer, state stores fo...
