Sound coming from scooter

There is a sound coming from the scooter that is normal. When you first turn on the ignition you hear a sound and the speedometer goes from0 to 100 and back. I always thought that sound was coming from the speedometer, however I recently flipped the emergency stop/kill switch off and back on and I h...

Re: PCX 150 2013 stability and acceleration

2nd half of this video shows it had good acceleration and is a great scooter for a 110 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWpp7wagGao PCX 125 has better acceleration and top end so 150 should easily outclass it at the expense of mpg. I'd imagine most scooters 110 and over pull away really fast. That...

No, that's crappy. Maybe I could drill a hole here and put in an alarm light run it along the main wiring harness and hook it to the parking brake light?

They told me the belt needed to be changed. All I have to say is the bike better be in top condition when I go to pick it up.

Re: Honda SH150i

Price and poor under seat storage is why I passed it up in 2008? and 2010 I believe. I really wanted the pass thru though. I really like the pas thru and dislike having to take all the plastics off the PCX to do any work on it. Some work can be done without removing stuff, but I saw my PCX plastics ...

Re: 5000 Mile Service

The belt should lat till 15,000 miles, rear brake shoes well over 20,000 You've been thoroughly bum raped. I'm not completely sure about the condition of the rear brake shoes, but I know the day I drove the used several month old bike off the lot, it had new brake shoes, however, before I got on it...

Re: 5000 Mile Service

<snip> Maybe I could just break all the tabs off the plastic and put industrial strength velcro on them and stick them all back in place so its easy to take apart and service. LOL! I think you meant that as a joke, but some of the guys (including myself) replaced tabs with velcro or the screws with...

5000 Mile Service

Okay this is crazy! I had a flat rear tire, picked up a screw. Then I was really SCREWED!!! The Honda dealer wanted $168 (parts and labor) just to change the rear tire? So I went ahead and had them change the tire and brake shoes at the same time. Then they did the 5000 mile service and a safety che...

Re: VERY close call Yesterday!

Last May I was going down a road in the right lane. There was traffic in the left lane because of a lighted road construction arrow sign pointing to enter the left lane. But I knew as you got close to the sign there was a third lane that opened up to make a right turn at the light. So I stayed in th...

Re: PCX Stereo System

I have got to agree with you there. It looks like you could vibrate the bike apart with all of the sound you could pump through it. But if you were really a sound junkie, you could add that and make those huge concept PCX side boxes to makeup the lost space under the seat. LOL
