Re: Centrestand woes.... sound familiar...?

hey, not been about much recently but i just had a major service on my 125 as i had a couple of problems, 6 months out of warranty and my centre stand pretty much over night became really stiff, i stopped using it and about a month later took it for a service, had to have front fork seals replaced a...

Re: Idle Stop Accident

all the idle switch does it tell the bike that there is somone on it in idle-stop mode, so the engine cuts out, then if you get off the bike the idle -stop remains on for about 2 mins, at that time the engine will cut off completely. general rule, if the orange light is blinking the engine is still ...

Re: Alarms?

my views on alarms is this. i was goin to get one when i got my pcx. especially coz not long after i got it some kids decided to pick it up and walk down the street with it, they couldn;t work out how the stands worked so they just left it on its side. i was pissed off! so i start thinking about an ...

Re: Is there any pcx owner who is around 6.3 feet

i'm 6'2 and have ridden the pcx fine for the last 2 years, on long rides in the cold you sometimes wish that hump wasn't there so you can stretch your legs a bit, but otherwise, not a problem. your knees won;t hit the handle bars like on some scooters

Re: Drive belt

i'm with gn2 here, i would say it was around the 10k mark i noticed. then after it's 12.5k service i had a look and spotted the hairline cracks a belt gets when wearing, compared it to the new and there was a huge difference in belt size, just bought a spare belt and rear tyre as i leave my current ...

Re: Drive belt

this is amusing, i thought my bike was feeling a little sluggish so i ordered exactly what is suggested before i saw this post, fitted them last week and wow, what a difference. back up to its usual 63ish mph. when comparing the new to the old weights you could see flat spots on them and the belt ha...

Re: Variators for increased speed,

I'd like to jump in with a new slant on this everlasting discussion. As I don't own a PCX anymore and don't intend getting one again in the near future I can now say what I have known about for a while. In the Uk the Honda PCX is NOT classed as a worldwide model - Honda reprogrammed the ECU for the...

those pesky curbs! it's almost like they were not designed to be ridden on :)
did you say your pcx is your first bike? coz if so you'll get more confidence and knowledge of what to do when things like this happen, there is always something that scares ya tho, the fun of 2 wheels :P

But Im used to bikes with windscreens. My bike has done 900 km (560 miles) so just broken in (going slowly) and...

Re: Unimpressed

Rich, Honda are idiots when it comes to winter stock ordering, we make only £50 profit on selling a honda lawnmower worth £985, but if i sell a cheep mower at say £279 i make nearly £100, honda expect me to buy 41 machine this year, i still have 10 left from last, i'll likely have 20 left this year ...

No smokey exhaust, have nor checked coolant since the service and I was right on tdc with the valves, I know this because I adjusted to exhaust tdc and thought it was way out and then double checked myself and corrected. I will definitely check the screen and coolant. Because of this nightmare poor...
