I wanted a thermometer also but as you illustrate, the lack of handlebar space convinced me to get just the clock. To me, the clock is more important. I never want to be late for dinner!

Re: What colour clock - Poll
You are right the black clock will match your instrument panel better and either will look great on your handlebars. But, I got the white because I could see the time quicker with the dark numerals/hands on the white background. It has worked out well for me and it looks very classy. BTW, my PCX is ...

Good riding form! Nice flat wrist and your eyes are looking at where you want to go.
But I gotta ask, how did you get the handle "Driller"? Are you a dentist in real life?

I just ordered the 1/4 inch tape from Amazon and I'm pretty sure it is Vehicleart (same description & images as on Vehicleart web site).

I was speaking to my dealer about something else this morning and we started talking about the Forza. He said they were told they won't be getting one until the end of August or September.

Re: Possible rear wheel issue?
I spoke with my dealer this morning about this. He and one of his techs were able to do the same thing with a new PCX on the floor. You really have to grab a handful of tire and press pretty hard to detect any movement and they say this is normal. They did offer to take a look at it so I might ride ...

Re: Video: Emergency Mid-Corner Braking on a PCX
He did manage to stress the most important thing though--straighten the bike up first before braking. That is the way we practiced this exercise during the MSF course.
My brakes seem to work best when I apply them both evenly while gradually increasing grip pressure. That will stop me PDQ.

Re: PCX150 Wheel tape
Thanks! I'll have to check out the color selection to see what would look best with my red PCX.
I would imagine as long as you clean the rims with a mild soap and no scrub brush that tape should hold up pretty well. If not, at that price you could replace it every year or so.

Hey Driller,
I live on a peninsula between Indian River Bay and Rehoboth Bay about 10 miles from Rehoboth Beach. I've been living here full time since 2005 and loving every minute of it!

Re: Possible rear wheel issue?
Yeah, I know that's the right thing to do. It's really a bummer though because we are in the midst of the best riding weather we have seen all spring. :( On the other hand I just installed a Givi 322 windscreen and the first ride on Monday was great. But every day since then the bike has been handli...

It also looks like your seat height is lowered an inch or two. Is that true?

Possible rear wheel issue?
I was checking my tire pressure this morning before my ride and noticed a little side to side play in my rear wheel. Is this normal for the PCX? If this was my bicycle, I would pull the rear wheel, inspect the bearings and races for damage then clean and repack the bearings and adjust them properly....

Re: How much did you pay for your PCX?
My PCX was a new leftover 2011 and I got it out the door for $3195 earlier this month. I think that is almost $1000 less than a new 2013 PCX150 would have cost me out the door at the same dealership.

Oops! I meant to say the Honda dealer said not to fuss with valve adjustments AFTER THE FIRST ADJUSTMENT unless I'm having problems.

Re: Tapping valves after doing clearances...
When I took delivery of my PCX, my Honda dealer was quite laid back about valve adjustments. He said unless I'm having problems, don't mess with the valves. BTW, this was not a salesman talking it was the owner of the dealership.
