so oil is supposed to flow out from the check bolt when its at correct level? How can you fill it past this level and get the bolt back on before it spills out. Ok my quick thoughts, the tapping sound means they are loose. It is VERY easy to use the wrong feeler gauge and throw it out of range. Let's not forget that oil also has a time limit for replacement. = 12 months or 5k miles (2.5k my preference) whichever comes first.

Welcome to the PCX club! I ride around Briley parkway here in Nashville with no problem cruising at 55-60. I do have a tall Givi windscreen but I'd say it primarily contributes to rider comfort.
