Re: checking brake wear

Thanks guys. I suspected as much. No easier way to do it. I guess I better have the pads handy, no need to do the work twice if the pads are worn.

checking brake wear

Hey guys, I bought my Forza with 24,000 km. I have no info on the brakes. The records I got with bike don't say anything about the brake pads, so, I can only assume they are the originals. I checked the manual, but it doesn't exactly say how to check brake wear except to do it from underneath . But ...

Re: draining the fuel tank

Quick update: After considering everything from battery check, connections, fuel tank emptying, etc, I squirted electrical cleaner into the switches and left everything to dry ( after a week of downpours). I bought 3 new spark plugs, thinking of bad plugs, etc. Yesterday I was going tp switch out th...

draining the fuel tank

Hey guys, I have a 2015 Forza 300 with 26,00 km, new to me. It was sitting outside in a rainy week. I went to start it the other day: it caught for a few seconds and died. On the second try, it ran rough for a few seconds and died. Totally, wont start again. I pulled the plug a day later, cleaned an...

Re: Video ..Forza clutch weights removal /servicing

Very nice video. You provide details that are necessary to do the job properly. I saw a similar video on the Silverwing forum, doing the same job. Surprising how the mechanism of both bikes are alike !
When the time comes, I'll be referring to your vid for guidance and inspiration.

Mixing OEM and performance parts

Hey fellow members, I have a burning question to ask: Is it okay to mix performance ( ex Malossi) parts with OEM ones ? I am asking in particular regarding rollers/sliders and belts from other suppliers with the Honda parts such as the drive faces and driven pulley parts.
Thank you.

Re: Falling seat-seat damper.... Fixed!

I got my 2015 Forza 300 3 weeks ago, and noted the seat damper wasn't functioning. The seat banged me on the head a few times ! I cut a piece of leftover PEX water pipe to fit into the document holder and into any of the bolts on the latch end of the seat. The pipe is flexible and adjustable . I thi...

Re: Hello Newbies! We're Glad You Found Us!

Hi there, I am from New Brunswick, Atlantic Canada. I have had several motorcycles and scooters in the past 15 years of riding. Started in my late 50's and played catch-up , figured I'd try as many bikes as I could safely ride. Hampered by a short inseam, so choices were limited. I acquired a used 2...
