Re: About to buy a pcx 150 - couple questions

Mine did not have more top speed after running it in. I do not think anyone has. Surprised a 150 can not do more than that and would not be happy personally about this

Re: Getting a PCX 125 on Saturday!

Did you try moneysupermarket or comparethe market as thats a lot of money. What is the excess and legal cover is definatly a good thing to have so check policy. You can always cancel before policy starts if you find a better quote

Re: Any brits drive in America?

Has it been mentioned there is sometimes a sign at lights allowing cars to turn left on red as long as path is clear. That is one of my favorites

Re: Any brits drive in America?

Am over in USA right now.
The 4 way stop sign......you give way to any vehicle at the crossroads before you and then you can make your move when your turn is up.
Seems to me you can overtake in any lane on the freeways and some other roads too.
Gas costs peanuts compared to UK!!!!!!
Have fun

Re: Honda NC700

Taz there is a few out there for the S but many more for the X as that model was available earlier. Can not have too big a screen on the S as will not look right. I am going to look around for a dark tint that will offer more protection but still suit the naked lines of the S. seen one on ebay.....

Re: Honda NC700

After all that I am sticking with the black S. The more i look at the X the more i am not keen on the plastic beak and that plastic extends to side of the no tank storage. End of the day i want a bike i can be happy to look at and not a fashion statement. S has cleaner lines and will respond better ...

Re: About to buy a pcx 150 - couple questions

You hit the nail on the head - but that's why I am attracted to the pcx - it doesn't look like the typical scooter - it looks sporty and cool. Do many of you pcx owners catch a lot of shit for riding a scoot?? I've never seen one on the street (someone riding it) just in the showroom and YouTube vi...

Re: About to buy a pcx 150 - couple questions

Am sure you will get used to the riding position. What i would be concerned about is that you mentioned you might feel a dork on it. All it might take is a few comments and it might make you embarrassed to ride it. Better be sure then buy something you may not use.

Re: Honda NC700

So it seems a guy not too far from me who is my height got his X seat repadded and that dropped seat height 35 mm. The fairing I remember did make a big difference. I have taken a liking to the X in black despite le beak. Making up mind Monday morning. This bike must last at least 5 years and do thi...

Re: Honda NC700

GN2 the kit is this http://tc3.smugmug.com/photos/i-5vXgGVG/0/L/i-5vXgGVG-L.jpg forks are dropped by 13mm http://tc3.smugmug.com/photos/i-6sxRRfx/0/L/i-6sxRRfx-L.jpg You then have to get side stand chopped by 20mm and rewelded and a sleeve is provided to go over the weld. Maybe an S side stand would...
