Re: Pcx Yuminashi Chainsaw 164!
Installed Yuminashi full set of 164cc. I put a long gear 15/45. Started driving. In a few days I drove 180 km. Then the scooter started overheating. The red light came on. I pumped the water system many times, the result is deplorable. The steam is collected, the pressure in the radiator, the liqui...

Re: Help 164cc Yuminashi-KiT
Hello Marcel! I had installed the Yuminashi 164cc upgrade with 150cc head on my 2019 Click 125i about six months ago. Initially I had overheating problems. Mechanic tore the head back off and there were signs of coolant transfer into the cylinder. Came to find out the head was not flat! Sanded down ...

Re: Pcx Yuminashi Chainsaw 164!
UPDATE:. 2000 km refresh. No longer idles, keeps searching to lower rpms until it dies, this is when fully warmed up. Tries to search down to 750-800 rpm, stock is about 1500. @ 1000 it will keep ticking over. Have also developed an oil leak, looks to be coming from the head at the bottom slot of th...

Re: Rear suspension replace
If you know the size of your shock (330mm, 360mm, 365mm, etc)(check your manual), you can try Bikerzbits out of Thailand. https://bikerzbits.co.th/. Shipping can be expensive.

FYI that is speedo km/h, not GPS corrected. Can be off by 10+% or more. Lower profile tires and smaller rims can also inflate speedo reported speed as speed is taken off gearing in hub.

Re: Bike stuttering at constant speeds
I am also experiencing the same or similar issue. To me it feels like it goes to the rich side and then corrects when throttle twisted. Have changed out injector (twice) and still same issue. Have installed new air filter, spark plug, fuel line. Same. Will try new fuel filter. Next step I am conside...

Re: Pcx Yuminashi Chainsaw 164!
Have installed a 170cc injector with improvements notes. At least it idles now, lol. Still experiencing surging/sudden richness at various rpms. Mechanic adjusted something and I did notice some improvement there also but more is needed.

Re: ADV150 Variator Tuning Results
Hi new member here, coming from the Philippines. Alrighty, so my ADV is roughly 2 years old. Got in early 20, and ran the hell out of it stock for basically 8 months. So during those 8 months here's what I observed. 1. Pulled off the line decently but with a bit of hesitation 2. I could feel very m...

Re: ADV150 Variator Tuning Results
So upgraded my variator and clutch. Did a S23 variator, and a Malossi bell and clutch kit, with dr pulley 11gr sliders. Acceleration is definitely better. Stock acceleration was okay, top speed on flat was 67mph, and mpg was roughly 90mpg. I’m a 6’3 260 lbs rider, in mountain country. After upgrade...

Re: Pcx Yuminashi Chainsaw 164!
Cold start issue has resolved itself, rings just needed to seat. Also had an overheating/coolant leak problem which we tracked down to the bore deck not being even. A slight sanding and now good. Back to breaking it in. Have about 100km run AFTER fixing the deck, about 250km total. Oil change today....

Re: What size tires do I buy?
Dry rot? You should ride more often. Wear them out and get your money's worth!
However, those will work. Standard size tires for 2016 PCX are 90/90-14 front and 100/90-24 rear.

Re: Pcx Yuminashi Chainsaw 164!
Installation complete, now time for break-in. Having an issue with cold starting. Could turn motor over once, then nothing. And with new LiFePO battery with 180cca. Turned crank over manually a few times with a wrench and then would start. Hoping for better tomorrow.

Re: Pcx Yuminashi Chainsaw 164!
Went with the 32mm Pitsbike set up for now which should be plenty with the 29mm valve in the 150 head. Have received all parts now so install should be next week. Mechanic is going to modify my exhaust for the bore kit (don't know what will be done yet) and install a plug for an AFR probe. Mechanic ...

Re: Pcx Yuminashi Chainsaw 164!
Thanks for the feedback power-full. We have a brand here in the Philippines called Pitsbike which has 30, 32 and 34mm throttle body and manifold sets for about $60 US including local shipping. I don't know how good they are but might be worth trying. Screenshot_2022-05-27-19-10-33-03_2abacf34316c15a...

Re: Pcx Yuminashi Chainsaw 164!
A question on throttle body and manifold size for the Yumanishi 150cc head. Which size would be best? I am seeing 30mm, 32mm, and 34mm throttle bodies and corresponding manifolds. I know the intake valve is 29mm and I do know that going too large can be a detriment. Insites? Suggestions? I haven't m...
