Re: Seat cover
I had those seat covers the PJ listed from Thailand and they ripped thru 2 of my nice jeans. It appears the friction of the seat material catch onto the jeans so the under thigh area is prone to damage by these covers. Great concept but pity about execution.

Re: colder weather fuel economy
Agree. You need more fuel if there's more oxygen or else the cylinders/Pistons etc get too hot coz the air fuel mix leans out that could foul spark plugs and cause pinging (worse case).

Re: Can't remove oil screen bolt
Sorry, I don't get it. It looks like a cut down socket. How will that fix it?
I'm going to try grind down the bolt a bit with the dremel and give that a go first. Still, I don't see the benefit of taking it out given the screen is like a sift that only metal chunks would get caught in it.

Can't remove oil screen bolt
I'm doing an oil change right now but I can't for the life of me undo the filter bolt without further rounding the bolt. Any tips? So far I've used a small shifter and 17mm socket but both jump out. I'm about to use a pipe wrench but I know that'll eat the bolt before lunchtime.

Wow, someone has set a new low for this hondapcx forum. Time to leave this forum and never visit again. The negativity and personal attacks... Over what people do to their transport vehicle ..... Nice talking to the civilised people here. Best wishes to everyone. Bye.

What Accessory or Mod would you like?
I just installed a similar thing I got from eBay. Beeping is loud even when I wrapped it up in tape and i can still hear it though the wind/road noise. Best mod ever. No more leaving the indicators on now.

Re: Variators for increased speed,
It's more to do with the belt at the bottom of the variator a tad too loose. It's pretty normal unless it's shaking violently. Mine does it but I've got to be looking out for it and it's only got 1500km.

Re: Dunlop Scootsmart vs Michelin City Grips
Michelin and IRC are the same. Why change the formula if you can scrap panels on IRC. Makes no sense to use anything else. That makes no sense. They are different makes and compounds. The michelins are proven to last longer as well. Ask gn2. But nothing can be better than what comes out of the fact...

Re: Quiet-Exhaust Recommendations Anyone?
On a related note, are there any significant performance/efficiency increases that would still make an upgrade worthy of consideration? No. Lighter rollers/sliders. At $35 shipped for Dr Pulley sliders (try EBay), it's cheap, won't increase exhaust noise yet give it a bit more poke where the engine...

When I get my hands on it, I'll do a quick how-to but as far as I can see, it's a plug and play item.

Gees there's a lot of party poopers. If someone wants to personalise their ride, then let them. If it doesn't float your boat, then keep quiet and click elsewhere. Of course there's no sense to modify anything on 2 or 4 wheels fast or slow but so what?? Does it impact you?
