Re: Question about ABS brakes

ABS is designed to stop the brakes locking, so as you apply the brakes, if the system senses the brakes locking they are released, this happens very quickly that the riders normally does not notice but provides smoother braking. Also note that your brakes are combined.

Re: Forza failure on Sunday - any ideas what happened?

Batteries fail slowly over time, however, you will suddenly reach a point where in one moment it was okay and the next not. If you do short hops with the engine on and off regularly, this is ultimately when it will fail.

Re: Full Synthetic Oil

I would advise AGAINST changing from a mineral oil to a synthetic, or vies-versa without an engine flush. Mineral oil will cause the synthetic oil to breakdown and loose its lubricity, this is a known issue, regardless of engine use.

Re: Brake Pads (aftermkt)

Good practice is to apply copper cote/slip, of similar named product. This copper based product is not grease, and will help prevent bi-metallic corrosion, keep parts moving, and will not harm the braking surface if it comes in contact with it. It will also act as an anti-squeal medium. Professional...

I found out that my seat/left glovebox switch had broken its centering spring. If I manually centered the switch everything was OK.
Very handy to know, though it has not happened to me (yet), I will know where to look first :)

Re: Rear shock options

Hi, I a new Forza rider, and though the Forza is low, I would like it a little lower, options are sculptured seat or lowering kit. I don't think there is much to come off the seat, and the lowering kit looks "dodgy" and I haven't seen any reports. A third option would be a slightly shorted...

Re: Hello Newbies! We're Glad You Found Us!

Hi everyone, I am Jim and live in Somerset, and have just bought a 2015 Forza 300. Now in my late 60's I have been riding since I was 16 and started with Lambrettas. A bike accident in 2018 saw me right-off my VN 900, and to get back on bikes bought a 125, but it was just underpowered, which has lea...

Hi I have just bought a second hand bike that came with that kit, though I don't plan on using it. Is there much of a second hand market for these.
