Re: Battery Drained after 3 days of non use
It's possible you have something draining the battery, like a stuck brake lamp switch or something. In that case, you may need to trace the circuit. But the easiest and 1st thing I'd recommend is the battery. Modern batteries are extremely efficient and dependable.. But I've had new replacements tha...

Re: Does my bike need an annual service if it's only done 1,500 miles?
I've never taken my bikes to my Dealer to do a simple service (not even the 1st service when they're new). Your owners manual should give a guideline as to what needs attention, just follow it. The exception to following 'by the book' (for me) is how soon/often the mfg. recommends "Valve Adjust...

Re: Spark plug
Still waiting on the cancer results. I am in pain most days but Fuck Cancer. I installed the iridium spark plug today. I doubt if I can keep the Forza going for another 100,000 km but I bet the spark plug will still be useable from what I have read. So it will probably be MY last spark plug for the...

Re: new tires
i rode the bike there with the old tires still mounted my son followed me in a car and rode me home the new tires were in the car Sorry for the on-and-on banter, but what you paid is unusually low price for my area. I've been quoted $50 per wheel just to dismount and mount a tire... that's bringing...

Re: Spark plug
davenowherejones .. That's a lot of miles on a bike, and a lot of seat time to get it there. I have 5 years on you, and while we're not young pups anymore... maybe we still have enough miles left on us for you to wear out that spark plug, and me another set or 2 of tires... We'll hope so. Fingers cr...

Re: new tires
he took them off the machine took the old tires off and mounted and installed the new tires Thanks, my question was did you ride the bike to his shop, and he remove the wheel assemblies from the bike and re-install them after changing the tires? Or, did you carry the front and rear wheels/tires to ...

Re: How-To: Gear Oil Change & Belt Filter Clean
Thanks for that perspective. In years past, I got wrapped up with the idea of needing to clean, sanitize, and micro-measure everything I was working on. Not so much anymore. I still service and replace things like filters, fluids, and tires before they're scheduled. But, not worrying about the small...

Re: 2021 pcx oil drain bolt torque specs
Congrats on the new bike. If it came with an owners manual, the torque specs should be listed along with a 'how to change the oil' section.

Re: connecting wires for heated grips
Some brands are wired directly to the battery and have an electronic controller that automatically shuts off the heated grips if you forget and leave them on by sensing the inactivity in voltage on the bike. If you haven't already purchased your grips, check out "Oxford" heated grips.. the...

Re: Any brake bleeder/bleeding kit to recommend?
If you have access to a home air compressor, Harbor Freight has several available. If not, IMO, "speed bleeders" are the easiest way to make bleeding brakes a one-person job. I have a short video attached for description. Several brands can be found from various vendors. https://www.bing.c...

Re: Drive belt age (maintenance)
Here's another vendor . I think I have the schematic up for a 2013 PCX, drive belt. Shows available, 'ships in 1-2 weeks'. Free shipping over $39.99.. which this is not. If you're in a real hurry, you may need to call customer service to verify the time until shipped... although, with things being a...

Greetings . New here, but not to the riding community. Old guy from the US, that wants to gather information on the PCX before jumping in with my wallet. First and foremost question...2020 or 2021? versions, since both are still available. Thanks in advanced for letting me use your Forum to gather ...
