Re: Diffrent OEM parts numbers on Front Pulley but same part
Honda may reassign part numbers for each model regardless of multiple bikes using the same part. I would think that would be especially true on, perhaps, an engine that uses many of the same parts as a previous generation of a similar engine. Either way, every part I've looked up for the PCX is rema...

Re: Battery for 2018 PCX 125 UK
I've used YUASA for years with no problems. Several I've used lasted for well over 5 years. But sometimes products fail. As easy as the PCX's battery is to access, I'd give the cheaper battery a go. I doubt the difference in AH difference will matter. And a AGM is a big plus. Unless you have a local...

From a previous discussion. Maybe doable, but not a quick and easy repair. Good Luck.

Re: Hi beam & fuel gauge issues
In case you don't have one already. From Honda's website... Here's a PFD Owner's Manual for a 2015 PCX. Believe it or not, there's always lots of good information in Owner's Manuals. And yes, the lamps are LED. Depending on how long the bike sat without being ridden, the fuel gauge may be "stic...

Re: Crankshaft compatibilty
Hello everyone, I have a 2015 PCX 150 WW150EX2 KF19 and because of a bad oli inspection my Crankshaft is broken. The original one is crazy expensive. So I can find a used SH150i 2018 used one that seems the same. Someone can give me any info about this compatibility? Regards Mik I'm not sure what y...

Re: 2023 PCX in the US
I suspect Honda just hasn't released them yet because I'm seeing the same thing in NC at one of Honda's exclusive dealers. That's not unusual. A local dealer may or not be able to give you an estimated delivery date if it's already on the books. Here's an article you may be interested in. Good luck ...

You may want to check the free play adjustment on the throttle cable.

Re: Suzuki Takes AiM at the PCX
Thanks for the news. I wish Suzuki would let US have them. But I doubt the demand in the US would justify their efforts. We have the Burgman 200, but it is considerably more costly than the Honda PCX. The US consumer doesn't seem to appreciate any motorized vehicle that's not big and heavy, overpowe...

Re: Octane performance
I live in an area where non-ethanol fuel is far and few between. I'd be less concerned with a higher-octane rating, since they also have ethanol blended in. I'm also concerned about ethanol blended fuel and moisture, so I use a fuel additive specifically made to address that problem. I use whatever ...

Re: Fluid Maintenance
The Owner's manual guidelines are what I follow. Most, if not all, give a "mileage or months' recommendation... Including for fluids such as brake fluid, gear oil, coolant, etc... in addition to oil and oil filter and other things that need attention. It seems like over-kill for low mileage bik...

Re: Tires and age of tires
The weight limit ratings are for bike, rider, gear, passenger, total weight. No problem going with a heavier/higher rated tire. Front and rear tires often have different tread patterns that are best suited to be used on either front or rear. All modern tires that fit your scoot will have already tak...

Re: Tires and age of tires
So I just did a little searching for the City Grip 2. How important are all those numbers? Obviously the rim size (14) is absolutely important, but the other numbers like I see 110/90, but not 100/90. Or I see different numbers and letters where I have 46P and 57P. Like on Revzilla, they have a 90/...

Re: 2021 Honda PCX "160"
You'll probably never have any problems with a slip-on only upgrade. But the fuel injectors depend on the ECU and its program of variables to operate. Any major alteration of the intake and/or exhaust systems will likely require an ECU 'retune' or 're-flash' to adjust its operating parameters so the...

Re: High Coolant Temp. On! Whitish smoke on the muffler! Check Engine light is on!
If the bike is loosing coolant... it's either leaking out or going somewhere inside the engine. Your check for bubbles from a blown gasket in the radiator is a good option, but not always fool-proof. If the head gasket's not leaking, it could be a bad water pump seal or something else... But the los...

Re: Battery Drained after 3 days of non use
It's possible you have something draining the battery, like a stuck brake lamp switch or something. In that case, you may need to trace the circuit. But the easiest and 1st thing I'd recommend is the battery. Modern batteries are extremely efficient and dependable.. But I've had new replacements tha...

Re: Does my bike need an annual service if it's only done 1,500 miles?
I've never taken my bikes to my Dealer to do a simple service (not even the 1st service when they're new). Your owners manual should give a guideline as to what needs attention, just follow it. The exception to following 'by the book' (for me) is how soon/often the mfg. recommends "Valve Adjust...
