Re: Final case bearing

The easiest way to remove any "blind" bearing is to "hydraulic" the bearing out. Find a bolt or dowel or something that just slides inside the bearing with as little amount of movement as possible. Fill the center hole of the bearing with some thick grease and pack it in there to...

Re: Shut down while riding now won't accelerate.

I would test the coil . It may be fine when it's cold but when it heats up that when it starts to fail. If you are able to have someone follow you on a test ride in case the bike quits, but take the tools to pull the plug when its hot and check for a consistent spark, your trying to start and it is ...

Re: High beam is working, low beam is not working

35 watts and 30 watts is the power the bulb uses/ puts out. like a light bulb in your house is 60watts or 100 watts.. If the switch was hard to push I would say it is the switch that is bad. You can spray some wd-40 on the switch button or some electrical contact cleaner and see if the button loosen...

Re: Yasuni exhaust compatibility 2017 - 2019

The fixing paste won't make a difference. That is to seal any leaks between the two surfaces being bolted together.

Re: Lower Front Cover/Fairing removal?

Unfortunately the only way to take it off is by removing almost everything. All the body panels are screwed into each other in multiple places. Look at the post by Maddie Dog to install the "bore up kit" he does a good job of step by step to remove the panels.

Re: PCX 150 Hard to Start

get some good fresh gas and put some cleaner in the fuel. I would use something like sea foam or another good brand. I had this happen after the bike had sat for an extended time. The fuel will slowly degrade and the deposits left behind will clog the filter in the tank and the injector. Mine was ba...

Re: How-To: Install a final drive gear up kit

Is your PCX stock other than the 45/15 gear set ? It will be interesting to see what top speed you are able to get. I have two PCX's , mine that is modified and the wife is bone stock. Please post when you get results. I would be interested to see how a stock bike performs with the gears.

Re: How-To: Install a final drive gear up kit

Scroll up on this thread to the parts breakdown picture from Honda. No. 6 the countershaft gear turns No.8 the Final drive gear. Now simply divide the gear teeth to get the ratio. 45 tooth gear divided by 15 tooth gear gives you the final drive of 3.00 ratio. The 15 tooth gear turns three times to t...

Hope you have good luck with your new kit. What weight rollers do you use? I am using 12grams in yuminashi variator with sto...

Re: New slow pcx?

I say check the brakes also. Put it up the center stand and turn the rear wheel by hand then squeeze the rear brake then see if the rear wheel is hard to move or spins freely. I had this happen to me as well , If hat is the case you may need to remove the rear wheel and make sure the brake pads are ...

Re: Idling problem

Well I figured it out. I took it for a ride and it felt like it lacked power so I figured the timing must be off a tooth. I re-set the timing and it solved the issue. Now it starts and idles fine and runs good. I am " breaking it in " so time will tell how well it actually performs. I have...

I just installed the Yuminashi 164 cc kit, piston ,cam, springs, and a 31mm throttle body with the 31mm intake and A type fuel injector, larger fuel line etc. All the parts from the Yuminashi Kit and suggested upgraded parts. STOCK 125 head and valves (ported the runners for both intake and exhaust....
