Re: Got it!

One question, how have you all found the "parking" brake? I engaged it and rolled the bike a little to test it, and it felt like it wasn't even on. Any comments? Most are NOT adjusted properly from the dealer. Mine wasn't either. See this for proper adjustment: http://hondapcx.org/viewtop...

Re: How do you haul your scooters?

the easiest way to haul your scooter in a 4-runner is take the back seat out, take off your mirrors and angle it in there. you might have to loosen or disconnect the handlebars to fit. if you have a 84-89 8) 4-runner just pop the top and put it in the back. (tailgate down with/without seat?) I trie...

Re: How do you haul your scooters?

Here is the exact hauler you mention attached to my 4runner. It works great! It has some minor flaws but it's the only reasonably priced aluminum carrier i could find. I wrote up a full review on the harbor freight website which is just a few from the top if you sort by newest first. pcxcarrier.jpg

Re: Prevent scooter falling over

It sure seems to me that the side stand is much more stable than the center stand. I keep mine outside on the side stand with a cover on it and it has sat through numerous 60+mph storms, including one storm that had a peak gust of 102mph which knocked out power for a week, and it sat there just fine...

Re: Increasing mpg with each fill up?

I seem to be getting increased mpg after each fill up. I have done 5 fill ups since I bought the bike and the total miles I have been getting from each fill up had been as follows. 130, 140, 141, 143, 146. Are you saying you run it completely out of gas for each fill up? If not then the mileage on ...

Re: Feeling sorry for the PCX 125?

I have to say that our 150 can and does go on the freeways. If 65 mph is the speed limit then people will be doing 70. The little PCX 150 can do 70 and has some juice to spare. Either you have a real creampuff or i've got a real turd, and i wouldn't be surprised if it were the latter. I can only go...

Well, i thought it was harder to get to but it turns out it's just two clicks... User Control Panel»Manage Subscriptions. Although a link straight to it would be helpful i can see how it might not be worth it. Funny, once there, they are called "watched topics" even though the link to add ...

Re: Rear wheel not spinning

I think ony the USA version has the parking brake. I have the US version with the so-called parking brake. I'll be talking to the dealer about it because it doesn't seem to do anything. Anybody experience this? Mine didn't work when i bought it. All i had to do was get the rear brake adjusted just ...

Re: State of the forum - July 2013!

I do have another suggestion... I would like a link at the top that will go straight to "My subscribed topics." Similar to "view your posts" except you only see the topics you subscribed to. That way i can always quickly check only the topics i'm currently interested in.

Re: Feeling sorry for the PCX 125?

The forza, on the other hand, seems a bit too much and the MPG isn't that great Au contraire, the Forza has class leading economy. My typical use of the PCX gives 90mpg. The Forza will probably do 80-85mpg in the real world, initial indications are that it will easily achieve 80mpg even when used o...

Re: Feeling sorry for the PCX 125?

I guess if Honda released a PCX 200, it would have the same effect. I will own the next 200cc scooter released in the usa. I've got 8k miles on my 150 now and it does almost everything i want it to do. What sold me on it was the incredible MPG while also being highway capable. I've had my 150 out o...

Re: PCX Pricing

I paid the MSRP $3449 plus $79 admin fee for a total $3528 OTD. Although some dealers collect taxes and some don't, the dealer has no control over taxes (which vary wildly from state to state) and, therefore, shouldn't be included in the OTD price.
