Re: Slow take off from stop till 15-20mph
Sorry for resurrect this topic, but I have to say this.... The problem are the rollers. 8) Dr. Pulley rollers tend to turn over inside the vario and not only in the PCX, avoiding the vario to completely open up.... so the takeoff is slow as watching grass grow.... is like trying to take off in 2nd g...

Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
If it helps, my 2013/2014 is at 80,000km (50,000 miles) - everything stock - no rebuilds - no loss of power. It's had oil changes every 4000km throughout it's life. Burns a little oil with city running but burns more at wide open throttle (but no real change over past 30,000km). Current estimate is...

Re: Just need to say I'm blown away that people doubt and refuse to believe the 21 can hit 85mph
Literally I can't believe why there's people like this  The PCX will reach 140km/h, IF you only weigh 30kg and/or you are quite small. Don't forget also to mention if go downhill, without wind against you, with lots of time and finally over-revving and incidentally... killing the engine For go...

Re: LED Lights on JF28 PCX
I have installed the lights, they look pretty damn good, but i had to adjust a a little bit the angle of the headlight upwards.
Even tho white light looks modern, sometimes I feel the beam don´t go too far away comared to the traditional halogen

LED Lights on JF28 PCX
Hello guys! Some one of you tried to replace the regular HS5 Bulb for a LED-one? The thing is that the only brand available at a good price in Germany apparently is not so good (for 7usd each) and a bulb lasts about 4 months or so, compared with the OEM Stanley (65usd both) These are the bulbs. I wo...

Re: 2011 PCX 125 from.... Germany!
Yes they exist, but here are quite expensive, finding aftermarket for this scooter here is at least for me a challenge Unfortunately when it comes to scooters, vespa is the king here. I dont know exactly why. maybe because they have the factory close? Maybe because 50cc scooters are more popular... ...

Re: 2021 Honda PCX "160"
Rear disc.....hallelujah......about time......overall , this is a nice upgrade. Don't get too excited. Some models have already had rear disc for a while, but most markets will still get a drum rear brake on this latest model. European model will retain the drum. https://www.honda.co.uk/motorcycles...

Re: New Kymco scooters. What do you guys think?
Looks nice and everything but, I dont know how kymco is doing in The US, but in Chile only one dealership has the brand representation, and spare parts are quite expensive. Here in Germany at least in my area and sorroundings, I never saw a kymco scooter. Everybody uses piaggio/vespa scooters and ho...

Re: What's the best glue to reattach turn signal on 2013 mod
After 60 miles or so at ~70mph as much as possible, I can safely say there's NO WAY this thing is coming off from riding alone. Another knock like the one that took it off, however... I definitely believe it'll do better than that one, little, lone screw that's holding on the right side. I'm sure I...

Re: 2021 Honda PCX "160"
I can't see why the complication and expense of a rear disc brake is needed on a lightweight scooter. I find the rear drum brake works just fine. ;) Works just fine I agree! But the thing is not so good are 1- Sensation to touch, you can modulate your braking easier, and because of that.... 2- Effo...

Re: What's the best glue to reattach turn signal on 2013 mod
Use urethane adhesive It's like black silicone... Went with this choice. Picked up the 2oz container from AutoZone for $8, tho... as that's way more than I'll need for one turn signal. Thanks for the recommendations, everyone! two things 1- be generous when using it, this is not loctite epoxi ...

Re: What's the best glue to reattach turn signal on 2013 mod
Use urethane adhesive It's like black silicone... Is the same adhesive that is used to glue windshields to cars. Many workshops use this to glue plastic trim to the bodywork when the clips are broken, including emblems, that mirror that keeps falling out of the case, etc Is water resistant and harde...

Humptectomy done
Truth to be told, the hump is beautiful but extremely annoying. What a pleasure not to have it! Now I have these extra centimeters I needed for the perfect fit

Re: PCX 125 2011 GREECE
Amazing! I've noticed that you started using 90w oil on the final gear box, and makes complete sense, since is like a differential. I don't understand why using motor oil in a place like that. I'm going to start using gearbox oil in that part. and change it every 20.000km, just like my old SYM Joyri...
