Re: Webike Japan and Kitaco returns.

Okay, so just a quick update for anyone that’s interested in what happened to the Kitaco exhaust I returned to Webike Japan. Kitaco have now repaired my exhaust and it is on its way back to me in the U.K. A good end then and a credit to both Kitaco and Webike Japan for their customer service. The pr...

Mr Pulley sliders - Honda Vision 110esp

Hello all, Hope you are all keeping safe and well. Just a little post on my recent findings of the above mentioned Mr Pulley sliders. For reference, I’m talking about the new upgraded sliders now named Mr Pulley as I think they used to be known as Dr Pulley. These new ones have a little tab each sid...

Re: Honda Forza Overheat Issues

Hi Dave,
I don’t suppose you still have air in the cooling system after refilling? I experienced a similar problem with a larger motorcycle, a CBF1000 which needed a bit of jinxing around to get all of the air out of the system. Just a thought and best regards

Re: Webike Japan and Kitaco returns.

I actually have a full A license so I wouldn’t be limited to any scooter or bike. Im curious why you suggested a 2018 Xmax 300 in particular? Another nice thing about the Vision is you can have the plastics off in five minutes and into the engine quick in case of a problem. I used to have an S wing ...

Re: Webike Japan and Kitaco returns.

Lesson from all this: if you want a faster scooter, buy a faster scooter. I would have to agree with you entirely. The reason I went for the Vision 110 was because it was air cooled and simpler than a water cooled motor. Scottish winters are not kind and I have ridden through three of them now with...

Re: Webike Japan and Kitaco returns.

Hello all, A quick further update in case anyone is interested in this thread. After thinking I would have a problem returning my exhaust from the U.K. to Webike in Japan, I’m now confident that Webike are dealing with this in a very civil matter. I packaged up the end can today and the courier turn...

Re: can i use 10w-40 JASO engine oil?

I use both JASO MA2 & MB if I can get my hands on it. MB is a bit scarce on the ground here in the U.K. If you are interested to know the difference, I read that MA & MA2 is designed for engines with a wet clutch whereas MB is for engines without. I’ve done around 30,000 miles over the past ...

Re: Replace crank on 125 engine

This is a question that interests me also. I was of the understanding that on earlier model PCX’s, the 125 and 150 shared the same crank and camshaft. Please don’t take this as the truth as I don’t know for sure. It might just be the camshaft that they share and that you could fit a 150 cylinder in ...

Re: Webike Japan and Kitaco returns.

Ok, so to update anyone interested, Webike have emailed me twice. First they asked the mileage covered with the new exhaust and then they have sent me a label to mail the exhaust back to their base in Japan. Kitaco want to have a look at it and assess what’s happened. They did say that if Kitaco say...

Re: Webike Japan and Kitaco returns.

Thanks for your reply. I’m thinking a welder is the way to go on this now. I did a little research around my local area and there is one or two possibles I could try. As a side note, I fitted the 126cc Kitaco light bore kit yesterday. I say I fitted it. What I meant was I attempted to fit it. I gapp...

Re: Webike Japan and Kitaco returns.

I can upload a picture or two but I’m guessing I need to host them somewhere? Thanks for the welding idea. You could well be right that it might be repairable as I’m not a welder so yes, a trip to one could be a good move. I’m guessing I’ll have to wait and see what Webike say first. I was very happ...

Webike Japan and Kitaco returns.

Hello all, Ok so today I started to fit a 126 cc light bore kit to my 2018 Honda Vision 110 to add to the Kitaco exhaust which I had already fitted about two months ago. Upon removing the exhaust today, I noticed it had snapped off around the weld between the down pipe and the end can. It’s only a f...

Re: Coolant Temp for 2011.

Have you tried tapping into the wires that go to the original coolant temp sensor? I bet if you tried you would find it worked well with your Koso gauge without having to fit an additional sensor. Most of these sensors work on 5 volts so would give the same reading on your Koso gauge that the engine...

Re: ECU out on 1022 PCX125 with 8000 miles?

I will have a look in a bit on some fault diagnosis pages I downloaded from Honda MARIS, the technical manual download portal I use from time to time and see if there’s any clues there. I’m wondering if a kill switch would throw a fault code. From memory I think not but there is something in my head...

Re: ECU out on 1022 PCX125 with 8000 miles?

Easy to check kill switch. Use a small screwdriver to pry out the switch. Disconnect plug from the bottom of the switch. Get a small paper clip short the connector to see if the bike starts. I had my Kill switch break on the inside I stranded 30 miles from home had the same symptoms as urs. Or rath...

Re: PCX Tuning 64Mph Cap

Are any of the others that have fitted the kit and done the mods you have based in the UK? I'm wondering if its something to do with the UK specific model and particularly the VS sensor located in the gearbox housing that's sending a speed signal and restricting your speed. Does your scoot accelerat...

Re: H4 LED bulbs Forza

I have been using Osram LEDriving H4 with great success on a Honda Vision 110esp. They only consume 14 watts per bulb leaving you more power for additional electric goodies and also have the ballast resistor built in to the bulb unit. Another problem solved for you not having to find a place for tha...
