Re: Tuning the Forza 300 CVT
I’m wondering if I go with like 22/23g sliders and 18/19g rollers, can I keep the same top speed but with lower revs when I’m on the highway but keep the same midrange gas mileage and power? The 19g sliders and the 16g rollers make the midrange great, more power and better gas mileage, just not enou...

Re: Tuning the Forza 300 CVT
I recently switched to 19g sliders and 16g rollers and I’ve lost a lot of top end. With the OEM rollers I redlined around 80-85 MPH but now I redline before I hit 75 MPH. What did I do wrong? What can I do to lower the revs at 75MPH? I assume I’d have to sacrifice low end speed off the line but I’m ...

Re: Mirror Won’t Tighten?
I am happy to report I got it tightened back down. The “collar” screws into the hole normally and is actually what the mirror post screws into, and then the mirror post and the nut are backwards threaded which explains why I couldn’t get it undone yesterday. Just took two 14mm wrenches one to hold t...

Re: Mirror Won’t Tighten?
Thanks for all the replies. None of the threads appear to be stripped on either side as far as I can tell, but I’m wondering if the last thread right up to the adjuster nut might be stripped and that’s why I can’t turn it.

Mirror Won’t Tighten?
I have a 2014 Forza 300 and my mirror is floppy and loose. I had ridden it to and from work a couple days before I found it and I had no issues with it. I suspect my wife might have done something to it after trying and failing to get the bike back on the center stand after she had moved it in the g...

Re: Cheap and Effective Speaker/Radio Solution!
This looks great, I'll probably try something similar out. Curious.... how did you know the speaker would come with a screw mount option? Cant seem to find that detail on Amazon and would like to explore some other options Thanks! EddieC - I actually owned the speaker for about a year before I ever...

Re: Oil Type for 2014 Forza 300?
Thanks for the quick reply. I usually use Castrol Synthetics on all my vehicles, just wanted to make sure there wasn't some special motorcycle/scooter specific oil with some additive I needed to use. I've only owned 30+ year old scoots before this one and oil tech has come a long way since 1984/5 so...

Oil Type for 2014 Forza 300?
Hey there,
Tried to do a search but "oil" is too common of a word, and "oil weight" only showed me topics about weight. So what type of oil are you all using? About to do my first oil change on my 2014 that's coming up on 6K miles. Thanks in advance!

Cheap and Effective Speaker/Radio Solution!
I posted this as a reply on another thread but figured it deserved its own post because who doesn’t want to jam some tunes while scootin’?! Total cost of about $50 with <5 minute installation. I always see people saying they scoot with headphones in. Personally I like to hear what’s going on around ...

Re: Phone Mount
I use one like this, and I mount it to my left mirror post: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GV00YBM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_cJFQEb9329024 I had it on the left slope of the handlebar next to the brake reservoir at first, but it’s in a much more natural to use position on the mirror post. Unfortunately not ...

Miles Per Tank?
How many miles do you guys get per tank on your Forza 300, and is your gauge accurate? I was riding to pick something up for my dad today after work and I looked down and my gas gauge was pegged on E as low as it could go. I keep track of my mileage with the trip odometer and I was only around 138 m...

Re: Hand Guards
Thanks, that was very helpful. I got it figured out, I think ultimately it was just option A on the instructions and it did not work well with the factory bar ends so I left them off. Those things are WAY heavier than what the Barkbusters came with, will that make any difference?

Re: Hand Guards
Can anyone post a picture of how their Barkbusters Storm handguards look when installed? I just got a set but there are so many options for the hardware that I have no idea what to put where and the instructions are less than clear and not specific to the bike at all. Do I end up using the stock bar...

Re: Need some advice ? Motorcycle Speakers
I use a Bluetooth speaker, the Aomais Sport II you can find on Amazon. It has a screw hole mount on the bottom so I got a bar clamp with a screw mount on the right side of my handlebars so the speaker sits perfectly in the middle of the handlebars. Its not gonna sound great on the highway, but I can...

Question About the Seat Shock/Strut
I noticed there is a little strut at the front of the seat. However, it does not hold the seat up at all for me. Is it supposed to? If so, how do you get at it to change it?

Re: How Cold Will You Go?
Lowest temp I've ridden to work in (14 miles one way) was 17F on my old '84 CH125. It had vents that you could open or close to put heat through onto your legs from the radiator, so it wasn't too terrible, but my kneecaps felt like they were frozen solid by the time I got there. I feel like every wa...

Re: Rear Passenger Armrests? NSS300A
It’s not a huge deal, he will only get bigger and rides fine hanging onto the little rails already on it, if he hangs on at all, but just thought it would be cool if I could find something like that. At least the trunk gives him something to lean against. I did find a backrest with armrests on some ...

Rear Passenger Armrests? NSS300A
Hey all, new to the forum and the Forza! My '85 CH250 blew up on my way home from work on Xmas eve, and I have been waiting for a good deal to come along on a new scoot. I just picked up a 2014 NSS300A a couple days ago with 3,800 miles, pretty much brand new condition, for only $2,400! I feel like ...
