Re: Sound for helmets
OK, I just went thru and set it to disabled. Should work, will test on next ride. :) Finally got a test of this. Was riding yesterday and recvd a call. Just heard my ringtone. Was not a number I knew, but to test I answered by tapping the button on the phone (it is mounted above my handlebar). I fo...

Re: Sound for helmets
Limey, I haven't had a chance to mess with it yet. Every time I get back from a ride and think I will take the helmet and manual, I get busy with other things.
But good excuse to get on it now. Thanks!

Re: Phone Accessories
This is the one I was thinking of. I think I can mount it to the handlebar, right at the center, between the 2 sets of bolts that hold the handlebar to the top of the fork. Oh, and I feel so stupid. I looked in the manual about that compartment, saw it is the "Front Box" and that it has a ...

Re: Sound for helmets
So I finally got to ride with it today, just me, so no intercom. Music worked great. I got a couple phone calls and they seemed to auto-answer. I did not press phone button nor say anything for voice activated. I tried looking this up in the manual, but could not. Can you offer any insight?

Re: Phone Accessories
Oh, I just thought you were saying to google mount holders, didn't realize the RAM was to be part of the search. You know, like when some people throw the word RAM into anything computer related. I'll take a look, thanks.

Re: Phone Accessories
I can do that. I just thought maybe some folks here would have some real good options, specific to the PCX150.

Phone Accessories
I'd like to, possbily, add two things to my 2015 PCX-150. First a good phone mount, that would securely hold my iPhone 6 (in it's Otter Box). And also some kind of USB Charger. Either an actual USB Charger I could wire in or wire in a cigarette lighter and use one of those kind of chargers. This wou...

Re: Sound for helmets
We got the music share (which also shares GPS Voice) to work. I thought it might require pairing the second phone (like they give instructions for). I did not realize music share works thru the intercom.

Re: Sound for helmets
Do you know if there is a video for installing this into the helmet. Not sure how the speakers are supposed to attach in the ear pockets. The pads they gave have adhesive on one side, not seeing how the other side attaches to the speaker or the helmet.

Re: Sound for helmets
Limey, I charged them and then paired and tested. Intercom works, mine to my phone, wife to wife's phone all work, play our music. How do we set it up so she can also listen to my phone music or vice versa. And once setup, how do we switch from one to the other? Also, is there any way to change the ...

Re: Sound for helmets
So use the boom, attach it in the cheek corner and have the actual mic portion just out in front of our mouths, correct?

Re: Sound for helmets
Our Sena 5's arrived. Limey, I know you recommend the adhesive over the clamp. For the mic, do you recommend the boom one or the smaller (wired) one. I would think the wired, sticking the mic end close to where my mouth is. We were full helmets or maybe they are considered 3/4, since the hard shell ...

Re: PCX150 Taller Windscreen
MacDaddy, the flexing is one of the biggest reasons I went with the NC over the Givi. And I've grown used to the look of the PCX with it on and it performs quite well.

Re: Sound for helmets
Thanks. I ordered the dual pack of the 5's. Will send PM and may hit you up from time to time with questions, if that is OK. OK, I cannot see how to PM. As new user, am I not allowed to? Yep new user, can't use PM. But I put my email address in my profile under INTERESTS (I could not see a way to ma...

Re: Sound for helmets
Still want to know, after reading a lot of reviews, is the SENA a lot better quality. If so, then I would get that. Even the Sena, on Amazon, people had poor customer service. Who are they made by, where are they located.
