Re: BlownPiston?
I really doubt you can do too much damage riding the bike for a short time with oil cap off, as previous poster mentioned, check the oil level and keep riding for a while more..., if engine was really damaged you would notice it, it won't be smooth, low power, and strange noises and vibration..........

Re: Chinesium drive belts
Manual says 24,000km on mine, but I guess if not changed for 5 or more years it's best to take it out and have a look, can easily see if cracks appear if bend it a bit from inside and also outside, or generally if it's in bad condition... , they are pretty tough though if genuine....

Re: Power loss
Was it sudden engine cut off or gradual slow down...!? It could be a lot of things, if intermittent hard to diagnose... Check engine kill switch, maybe open and clean it if dirty and not work smoothly, also side stand switch could have a bad contact... Perhaps next check the spark plug, open and hav...

Re: 0-40 or more acceleration times
0-40mph is pretty useless , there is not much data on that to compare with. Most people test and discuss 0-100kph or 0-60mph acceleration stats and figures. So let us know what is your best figures for that, flat road, no wind behind, and include your weight. From what I see on internet stock PCX ha...

Re: 0-40 or more acceleration times
I'm guessing you have come on Forza forum to show off and brag about your unbelievable acceleration ..., but you are on the wrong forum , because with those numbers , if true, you need to go on 500cc or 600cc big bikes forum, because they normally do 0-100kph (or 0-60mph) in about 5 or 6 seconds.......

Re: Fuel capacity?
Reset your Trip A to zero after filling up your gas tank to full - this also resets your average fuel consumption meter. Then you can check your mileage on Trip A and fuel consumption and know how much more you can go before empty. The fuel gauge is pretty useless, I don't think I have ever looked a...

Re: Align handlebar and forks
Yes, that's what I read and saw on YouTube too... I don't do any repairs myself, but in here you need to know exactly what the procedure is so can supervise the guys call themselves mechanics, and watch them every step, otherwise they totally mess up your bike..., even the official Honda dealers are...

Re: Align handlebar and forks
Yes, I heard this and used to do it to my bicycles a lot, but if it's so loose that it can be aligned like that, wouldn't it go out of alignment on the next pothole or round a bend etc...!? I thought I need to find the place that holds the alignment together, loosen the bolts there , align and tight...

Align handlebar and forks
I had noticed a bit of mis-alignment with my handlebar a while back, well maybe shortly after I got the bike 2 years ago, but it's very very slight, basically I feel the right side of handlebar is a bit closer to me and it's not 100% vertical with the wheel... As it's hardly noticable I left it, but...

My bet is on the 3 clutch shoes and the clutch housing bell, as others mentioned you need to open the CVT and inspect everything, then you will know for sure....

Re: Flasher bleeper
When I had smaller 125cc scooters, mine or rented, it was always the problem, not to notice the indicators are left ON after the turn. But with my old model Forza 2016 I never have this issue, because the dash is way forward in front of me, and big bright blinking lights, I can't miss it - it was on...

Re: just bought forza 300
I just saw a FB video of a Thai guy put on a Brembo caliper for rear brake. It's mounted below towards the back of the bike - kind of opposite original. He has the same problem of pads sticking and touching the disk after release, in fact I think he has sintered pads and they make a terrible noise a...

Re: Idle low rpm and engine cut off problem
Good point about carbon built up, I should have cleaned them more...., I remember many many years ago we used a very fine sandpaper for cleaning, adjust the gap, and reuse plugs in cars for years, now they become a throw away item...! After this episode with plugs and having to buy two, I might cons...

Re: Idle low rpm and engine cut off problem
So I waited a few days before posting, in case what occured was a temporary thing...! It's a mystery really, before I take the bike to another Honda dealer, I thought I check things myself one more time. I don't have space or tools, so went to the small local repair shop who have been friendly and p...

Re: Idle low rpm and engine cut off problem
Yes, someone else also said drain the fuel, but I counted I have done over 1200+km or so since that expensive fancy fuel - about 4 or 5 tank of fuel emptied and then refilled (I usually wait for tank to empty quite a bit and fill up about 9.5 liters at every visit to gas station). So if anything thi...

Idle low rpm and engine cut off problem
Well, this a long story started a couple of weeks ago, so read with patience... I bought all 24k km service parts online and changed by a local mechanic about 2 weeks ago. Also at the same time tried a new fuel from Shell for the first time (V-Power something blah blah..., a lot more expensive here ...

Re: Clutch pad glazing
Here in Thailand there are many offered on Lazada.co.th or Shopee.co.th and they charge like 30 or 60 baht (1 or 2 USD) to deliver. No idea if they ship abroad and for how much. These are what I bought: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/forza-300-350-cc-forza-i664546135.html https://www.lazada.co.th...

Re: Clutch pad glazing
There is another thread last year with good info, I added to that... Generally I think the problem is with excessive heat, either riding a lot in traffic or high speed in a hot country (like where I am 30-35c mostly), like 100-120kph for a couple of hours ... Sandpaper solution only worked for a cou...

Re: Making the rear brake pads last???
Long story but I went to do my 24k service (bought all parts online) but the usual mechanic snubbed me and a bit rude, his assistant came over and said we are busy, no time... ! I think he didn't like it when I went back a couple of weeks ago, showed him the stains (another thread about that) and me...
