Re: Post your pets

 My fiancee loves guinea pigs. Sadly, they are the only thing I'm allergic to (well, aside from benadryl). We have two dogs and a cat. Here's Maddie, my dog. She was a rescue from the animal shelter near here. She was emaciated and very sick when we adopted her. If we hadn't adopted her, she wo...

Small line of parts? I look forward to what you come up with.

84 hours a week is nuts. He better be bringing in a whole lot of money for that kind of work. I've only worked an 80 hour a week once in my life, I can't imagine doing it continuously.

Re: Winter gloves

I'm thinking a cheap kit like the second kit you linked to coupled with some grip covers might work awesome. I could just wrap the heated pads around the outside of the stock grips, then put the grip covers on top... Hmm...

Good, you'll be pleased. I rode a friend's PCX with the short Givi back in June at a scooter rally in North Carolina to test it out, the short one makes a huge difference over stock. Be sure to post pictures of it in the Gallery forum when you get it all together. :)

Re: Alleykat's PCX - Houston,TX

Yeah, I still can't get over the white rims too. They look so amazing. I was planning on getting mine powdercoated, but the shop near me changed their pricing for me from $100 a pair to $175 per wheel! o_O Some of the bikes on your site look amazing. If you want to put up a thread on the vendor sect...

Re: anyone have different mirrors?

A guy came on clubpcx trying to sell the hard saddlebags, HID kits, and a whole bunch more parts (I think his username was Garasi or something like that), but he disappeared after I had PM'd him a few times because Corsport wanted him to pay them to post on the forums. :( More will come, I'm sure of...

Re: Winter gloves

Might want to double-check the last link to make sure it is 7/8" to fit our handlebars. I think I'm going to try these: http://www.amazon.com/Symtec-Handlebar-Warmer-Rocker-Snowmobile/dp/B000TYHYZ6/ref=sr_1_4?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1320624930&sr=1-4 because I like the switches bet...

Re: anyone have different mirrors?

Ah, okay. If I were to add mirrors, I would get ones like the body mirrors on this custom PCX:

I have seen a similar mirror kit at the local motorcycle shop, but haven't seen one online.

Okay, thanks for the tip. I think the best way forward is decent winter gloves + hand grips.

That'd be awesome. I'd probably pay for shipping to get a set of grey panels. :D

There's a ton of them on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss? ... or&x=0&y=0

I have the stock ones, because I rarely lane-split. I have bonked them on cars and garages though.

Re: Winter gloves

Thanks for the links. I didn't realize there were so many options; it's overwhelming. I think I'll just ask for some for Christmas and let my wife do the footwork and figure out which are best.

I ride an old Schwinn Moab hardtail when I'm mountain biking. It's not quite as cool looking as your all black rockhopper though. :)

Re: Leaving suspension as is

Eddie, make sure your tires are fully inflated. We exceed the weight limit with me, my wife, the dog, and gear, and have only bottomed out a couple of times. I found out after we bottomed out the first time that my tires only had around 20psi, when they need 44, if I remember correctly. Inflating th...

Re: Recommend me

Ah, I was thinking more of on the lines of maps and navigation. For momentary speed checks, or logging your speed, DailyRoads Voyager can simultaneously record riding video, g-forces, and speed. I use it to record driving, so if I get in an accident, the video can be proof of what happened. You migh...

Re: Leaving suspension as is

I've ridden a whole bunch of bikes, and the PCX has the best suspension of any scooter I've ridden, especially 2-up. I might change it eventually to give me a bit more comfort for longer rides, but I don't like the options available either. I can't justify spending several hundred on suspension, whe...

I thought the grey was more of a gunmetal grey? It would have been my first choice, with black second.
