Re: How fast would you want to go on your PCX 125/150?
We have had our pcx150 up to 70 + MPH on the freeway. The problem was not that it could or could not go that speed...it could do 70 all day... the problem is the big trucks. Need I say more??

Re: Today's Quick Pic
We looked at a Silver wing but we didn't like the looks of the back end. I can't explain that but I think k the Burg man 400 has a nice view of the back, and my wife loves driving it since it sits low enough to the ground that she can actually sit in the driver's seat without having to worry about b...

Re: Upgraded to PCX 150!
My wife loves her PC 150. We go for long rides to the North Georgia mountains on our bikes, so it can travel fairly well. We have had it up to 70 so it has very little problem keeping up with the traffic. Still, I would consider a full windscreen if I were you.

Maddiedog, what is the red bike in your stable? It doesn't look like our 150. Is it a bigger bike?

Re: 2011 White Honda PCX - Marietta, GA
We always ride together. I trust my riding because I have been doing it for half of my life, but she rode dirt bikes when she was a teenage and that was about . She has never driven in traffic, so she is building confidence now. We go out as often as possible now. She is getting really good now. I k...

Re: 2011 White Honda PCX - Marietta, GA
I'm definitely not a stalker. Just because we live closer to each other than was thought, doesn't make either of us a stalker. Marietta is not that big and since we both live on the east side of the county it would be logical that we would eventually cross paths or at the very least drive around clo...

Re: Yet another windshield thread (aerodynamics related)
I always look up the weather the day before so that I can determine whether I want to chance getting wet. I have 2 different weather apps on my tablet, which travels with me. I am lucky in that I have retired, but riding in the rain sucks any time.

Well, I guess we are even closer to each other than I thought. We live at Merchants Walk. We have certainly ridden in the area of Pope a few times....at least. :-)

And here are our scooters, out and about by the river a couple of days ago. The weather was great, as usual.

This is what the pipe wrap looks like stuffed between the windscreen and the bike. So far it is still there after 1,000 miles.

Re: Seat uncovered
My wife is only 5' tall and she couldn't reach the ground either. our solution was first of all to get her some really tall boots (Demonia Ranger 301). Then I ordered her a custom seat from Powerbypcx.com . http://www.powerbypcx.com/achat-selle-type3-carbone-carreaux-coutures-rouge-noi-269433.html H...

Re: 2011 White Honda PCX - Marietta, GA
We spent the afternoon riding and it was another great day to do so here in Atlanta. In fact, maddiedog, we were in your neighborhood just driving around the back streets. We probably passed your house because we cut through to where WOW motorcycles is before heading up Highway 41 toward Red Top Mou...

If you wonder about the part names and how useful it is to know what each panel is called when ordering, go to BikeBandit.com to see the parts you may want to replace and what they are called. http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorcycles/2011-honda-pcx125/o/m20256#sch691773 Hope this helps. Re: Yet another windshield thread (aerodynamics related)
We put a section of gray plastic pipe insulation about a foot long inside the gap and stuffed it as far down as we could. (That is the type of stuff you wrap your pipes with. It has a split down the middle.) Then I put some clear duct tape on the inside to keep it in and a small piece of clear duct ...

Re: Honda PCX Manual
I don't know if anyone is interested, but I took someones advice and ordered a service manual for a 150 and it has arrived. it was a steal. I now know how to do a few things on the bike. Here is a small sample of the manual, if anyone is interested.

Re: msrp AND SRP
I have a 2013 pcx150 and we paid the standard $3450 plus about $1000 in fees, taxes, etc. We had them take it out of the crate and build it since we wanted red and they had just gotten it in on the truck. Consider part of the fee as the build fee. When it came in it was in pieces in the box with no ...

Re: Trouble filling up PCX
Filling it up is one of our biggest challenges. My wife hates it, especially if she ends up with one of those handles that she has to squeeze hard to start because it doesn't flow smoothly. I have had to fuel it for her in those circumstances. I have to watch it as it flows in and slow it down when ...

Re: How To: Install a Trunk
While discussing the trunk I thought about something else I added to my wife's scooter while going through all of the install. I added a 'Knight Rider' sequential tail light. I had to find a makeshift adapter to attach it to, but it works quite well while she is riding around. It is a great way to m...
