are the handle bars rubber mounted?...I had a BMW K75RT years ago and the bars moved back and forth on rubber mounts to absorb vibrations

great pictures , Sadly over in the UK we have had three major storms and really crappy weather . The authorities in the UK also seem to panic when it gets cold by spreading salt/grit on the roads which really make a mess of cars and motorcycles ..Sunny today but quite cold ...Hoping for better / dry...

I use the Givi 34 liter. I really like it and adding the light kit along with a Skene Tail/Brake Light Controller give me great visibility. yes...I would remove and check the internals of the switch ...may just be possible to clean it etc ?

your last comments - I would agree that it sounds like the handle bar switch is faulty - causing the lighting circuit to short out etc
