Re: PCX Essential upgrades video

Interesting. I’ve never been bothered about kick start. I’ve also never needed grips - heated gloves are better IMO.

Re: Windscreen question

I ride a mk4 (2019 in the UK) PCX - I had it for about a month before I fitted the Honda tall screen. IMO it makes little difference to being pushed around by traffic and crosswinds - but it is very noticeable improvements in comfort from wind hitting my body and helmet. I'd leave it on - the bike i...

thanks, Sean
I purchased the official screen from my dealer and got the fitting kit included. UK based.

1 year review

Hi guys,

Thought I'd drop a link in here as I can see a fair few of my visitors to my channel come via here - this is my VLOG about a year long ownership of my PCX.

Thanks for those of you who support my channel already - it really is appreciated.

Re: Brake fluid level

Check the level with the reservoir horizontal, this usually means on level ground on centre stand with handlebars turned to left. So long as the level is above the minimum its OK. The level goes down as the pads wear, if the level is part way down the pads are part worn. Fluid at or below the lower...

Re: questions from a soon-to-be rider

Hello to all. I have been following the forum for a few weeks. I have rented scooters (PCX) in France and recently got my motorcycle license here in California. Looking at buying a red 2020 PCX ABS. A few questions: 1. I am having a hard time finding one. My local dealer has none in stock and does ...

Brake fluid level

Hi people I've noticed that my front fluid reservoir seems to close to the lower level. Pads have not worn down (well over half material left) and no obvious leaks. I have checked the level with the centre stand on on flat ground. Bars straight. If I turn the bars then the fluid level either goes we...

Monimoto Tracker for Motorcycles/Scooters

Hi guys/gals I have recently purchased a tracker for my PCX - it works really well - despite a few setup issues - but now it works flawlessly. Customer service was good when I had issues and I'd put together a short video if anyone fancies watching it. If you are based in the USA you need to purchas...

Monimoto Tracker for Motorcycles/Scooters - Unboxing & setup

Hi guys/gals,

Thought some of you might find this video I made useful - it's a fairly cheap tracker for bikes - dosen't require wiring in and works well (despite my initial setup issues) - customer service has been super fast too.

Feel free to check it out!

John

Re: Condensation in the dashboard

Well I went back to the dealer and the warranty claim was accepted. I will get a new dash but have to wait until May because all the parts are not available yet. Bummer. Funnily enough, the day before I went to the dealer, another issue reared its head. The loud buzz that can be heard after start-u...

You don't have to. Just retake basic training every 2 years.

It's not worth me doing my full license for the riding I'm doing. I have no plans to go to a bigger bike.

Clean bike time

Here in the UK it's been pretty rainy and wet. Today I finally got to put bike time into action and clean the PCX. I used my usual cleaning rageime and finished with Muc Off bike protect (which is identical to the motorcycle one but cheaper when I got it) and it's brought the body work and screen et...

pitting/dirty swingarm (silver bit)

Hi Just given my PCX a decent clean (after some horrific weather) and I've noticed the silver swingarm (or whatever it is called) behind the exhust is very dirty and I can't remove the dirt/marks from it. The can be removed using WD40 and a scotch pad - but it's a pain to reach and clean it complete...

Hi John, Thanks for sharing your video :) Well done! I took the liberty of moving your thread and "showing your video." I feel it will be viewed more here under accessories. Thieves make our lives miserable in "soo many ways!" It's such a pity to spend so much $$, put so much ef...

Re: PCX Essential upgrades video

has anyone used those Oxford hand covers or something like them? Are they effective? I like to ride as long as possible through the seasons and the one thing I haven't been able to keep warm are my hands. I love mine. They have basically allowed me to continue riding to 0 c easily. Up to 1600 now in just 4 months. That's just work mileage. I'm very happy with it as my main mode of transport to the shops, work etc. Still have the car but it's done next to no mileage the last 4 months lol
